A new fantasy basketball week is here, which means it’s time to dive into some waiver wire options.

The last time we went over waiver wire options was on Friday, and we also did a story on Thursday. The five players we’ll talk about today were pulled from the FantasySP Waiver Wire Pickups page, which is updated daily. Let’s dive right in!

Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including waiver pickups, projections, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant. Use our fantasy basketball trade analyzer and the Trade Value Chart to break down trade scenarios.

Brice Sensabaugh Fantasy Outlook

Sensabaugh has been added in 13.73% of leagues, bringing his total own percentage up to 19.68%. That 230.76% increase is easily the highest percent change to open the week.

Sensabaugh has been on a tear of late, so it’s no surprise to see him added in a bunch of leagues. He has combined for 61 points, 10 rebounds and two assists and steals over those two contests.

On the season, Sensabaugh is averaging 9.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.1 blocks across 17.5 minutes and 28 games played (all off the bench). He’s shooting 48.2% overall and 42.7% from 3-point land.

Utah has been missing a couple players of late, so Sensabaugh has been asked to fill a bigger role. He’s certainly capable of big fantasy showings, but without a consistent role, Sensabaugh is just a deep-league fantasy option.

I have no issues adding him in deeper leagues to see if he can keep rolling. He’s a player to at least add to your watch list (in all leagues) in case this is the start of a breakout for a second-year NBA player.

Nikola Jovic Fantasy Outlook

Jovic is up to 28.83% owned after an 11.44% boost.

Jovic has played at least 24 minutes in each of the team’s past four games, and that mixed with the news that Jimmy Butler wants out of Miami is why Jovic is trending up as a fantasy player.

Averaging 28.3 minutes over the past four games, Jovic is averaging 12.8 points, 5 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks over that span. That’s enough production to make him a solid deep-league fantasy option.

Jovic should be one of the Heat players to take on an expanded role with Butler currently suspended, and likely having already played his last game with the team. Of course, players could be in the return package for Butler, and those players could take Jovic out of the rotation, but for the time being, he’s a decent fantasy option.

Jovic should be rostered in most dynasties and a lot of deeper leagues right now. If he continues to produce, and eventually gets more minutes, he could work his way into standard league streamer territory, so he’s a player to at least keep tabs on.

Quentin Grimes Fantasy Outlook

Grimes was added in 9.84% of leagues and now sits at 43.25% overall.

Grimes has taken on a bigger offensive role with Luka Doncic out of the rotation while nursing an injury. He’s put up 10 or more shots in four straight games, and after playing at least 28 minutes in all those games, Grimes has emerged as a popular waiver wire target.

In 33 games and 11 starts this season, Grimes is averaging 10.1 points, 4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks across 22.2 minutes. He averages 28.2 minutes, 15.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.4 blocks when Doncic is not on the court, so you can see his added fantasy value right now.

Until Doncic returns, Grimes is a player that probably should be added and started in most deeper leagues, and he’s a standard league option as a streamer too. Take advantage of the situation Grimes is in instead of waiting to see if he can keep things up.

Tristan Da Silva Fantasy Outlook

Da Silva is rostered in 43.48% of leagues after a 9.38% bump.

Da Silva is another player taking advantage of extra playing time. Orlando has been ravished by injuries this season, and it’s thrust Da Silva into the starting lineup, where he’s playing 30 or more minutes most nights.

The rookie is averaging 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.2 blocks across 25.7 minutes and in 33 games (26 starts) this season. He’s started the past 12 games, averaging 30 minutes, 12.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.3 blocks in that span.

He’s trending up as a fantasy player, and is definitely a deep-league option right now. Da Silva needs to be rostered in a bunch of, if not all, dynasty leagues, and should be owned in most deeper leagues, at least for the time being. As the Magic get a bit healthier, Da Silva’s fantasy value could decrease, but for now, he’s worth utilizing. Take advantage of things while his situation is still favorable.

Grayson Allen Fantasy Outlook

Allen is up to 38.22% rostered after going up 7.1%.

Allen had missed a little time with a shoulder injury, but got back on the court on Saturday and turned in a good performance. It’s pretty easy to see why he’s being added in fantasy leagues.

Allen had 13 points, four rebounds, six assists and a block across 31 minutes in his return to the court. He averages 10.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks across 24.1 minutes in 24 games and one start this season.

He’s not a huge fantasy asset, but he does enough to be useful in deeper leagues. With the Suns making some big lineup changes, Allen has a little more fantasy appeal, even though he’s not expected to join the starting lineup.

Allen hasn’t been rostered in more than 50% of leagues dating back to early December, and it’s unlikely Allen gets past that mark unless he’s starting or producing big numbers on a nightly basis. I think his own percentage is pretty solid at its current mark and wouldn’t mind adding him in a deeper league just in case the team’s rotation changes help Allen out from a fantasy perspective.

Dunn is one of the new starters for the Suns - he’s been added in 6.61% of leagues and is up to 10.73% overall. Lyles sits at 21.05% overall after a 6.37% increase. Ellis got a 5.88% bump and is at 28.31% overall now.

Anthony is rostered in 28.38% of leagues after a 5.04% bump up. Ball is up to 25.4% after a 3.89% increase.

Johnson has been added in 3.61% of leagues and is up to 25.4% overall. Williams has a 6.86% own percentage after a 3.2% increase.

Camara is now owned at 36.84% after a 2.97% increase. Agbaji now sits at 32.95% rostered after a 2.29% increase.

Isaac is up to 11.44% rostered after a 2.29% raise. LaRavia was added in 2.06% of leagues and sits at 10.3% overall.

Detroit’s Ausar Thompson, Portland’s Deni Avdija, Sacramento’s Keegan Murray, Phoenix’s Jusuf Nurkic, New Orleans’ Yves Missi, Dallas’ P.J. Washington, Indiana’s Bennedict Mathurin and Washington’s Kyle Kuzma and Alexandre Sarr are all standard league waiver wire options.

Thompson was added in 5.83% of leagues and is up to 52.97% overall. Avdija sits at 89.24% after a 4.57% increase. Murray was added in 4.39% of leagues and is at 84.67% overall.

Nurkic, who is one of the Suns’ being benched, was added in 3.96% of leagues and is at 70.55% overall now. Missi is up to 69.63% after a 3.8% increase.

Washington was added in 2.52% of leagues and is up to 88.56% overall. Mathurin got a 2.29% bump and is at 80.78% overall.

Kuzma was added in 2.1% of leagues and is up to 83.98% overall. Sarr is rostered in 77.63% of leagues after a 1.94% increase.
