Fantasy Football Injury Report Week 1: Rhamondre Stevenson, George Kittle, Terry McLaurin, Jerry Jeudy, Darren Waller and more
Week 1 is almost here and we're here to keep you up to date on all the latest injury news to your key fantasy options. These injuries have been updated after the practice week has been completed on Friday.
Week 1 Injury Report
Running Backs
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots (Illness)
Stevenson was held out of practice Friday, reportedly due to an illness. However, this is believed to be mostly precautionary and he is expected to be a full go on Sunday, but is officially listed as questionable. Assuming he is active he should be in your lineup this weekend.
Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks (Groin)
Walker has been fully cleared and removed from the injury report after dealing with a lingering groin issue for a few weeks. He is expected to handle a full workload this weekend. This is a big blow to Zach Charbonnet.
Zack Moss, Indianapolis Colts (Arm)
Moss was originally not expected to play in Week 1, however, he now looks like he might be able to go. He should be considered a game-time decision. If he is active Deon Jackson can not be started.
Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints (Hamstring)
Miller is dealing with a hamstring injury and was a DNP on Friday. He looks to be on the wrong side of questionable for the opener. This should leave Jamaal Williams to get a ton of work in a tough matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Cordarelle Patterson, Atlanta Falcons (Thigh)
Patterson was a limited participant in practice all week. He is officially listed as questionable, but it sounds like he should be out there on Sunday. Despite being in the "joker" role he is still unstartable for now.
Wide Receivers
Terry McLaurin, Washington Commanders (Toe)
We are starting out the wideouts with some good news because there won't be much of it. McLaurin has been removed from the injury report and is expected to be a full go this week. Get him in your lineups.
Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos (Hamstring)
Jeudy is dealing with a hamstring issue that was expected to cost him the first few weeks of the season. He has been limited in practice this week so there is some optimism he will be able to play. If he is active, he's a very risky start.
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers (Hamstring)
Watson has been ruled out for Week 1.
Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers (Hamstring)
Doubs was able to practice late in the week and is officially listed as questionable. It sounds like he is more likely to play than not. He will likely serve as the team's WR1.
Hollywood Brown, Arizona Cardinals (Hamstring)
Brown was able to practice in a limited fashion all week. Barring a setback, he's expected to suit up on Sunday. If he is active he should see plenty of volume. His QB situation does hurt his value though.
Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams (Hamstring)
Kupp will not play this week and is in danger of missing a lot more time. We took a deeper look at his injury here.
Adam Theilen, Carolina Panthers (Ankle)
Theilen was able to get in a limited practice to finish the week. He is looking like a true game-time decision. We wouldn't suggest starting him.
DJ Chark, Carolina Panthers (Hamstring)
Chark has been ruled out for Week 1 with a hamstring injury.
Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans (Knee)
Burks has been removed from the injury report and is fully expected to suit up for Week 1.
Tight Ends
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens (Quad)
Andrews looks to be on the right side of questionable to play this week. Nevertheless, he's far from a lock to suit up and needs to be monitored.
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (Groin)
Kittle was able to practice in a limited fashion all week but is still listed as questionable. He's not a lock to play, nonetheless, he's more likely to play than not.
Darren Waller, New York Giants (Hamstring)
Waller was a late-week addition to the injury report and missed practice on Friday with hamstring tightness. While he is expected to play according to the team, this is definitely concerning.
Zach Ertz, Arizona Cardinals (Knee)
Ertz is trying to return from a torn ACL and looks like he has a 50/50 shot to do so after being a limited participant in practice all week. Even if he is active, Ertz shouldn't be started and his presence would knock Trey McBride completely off the fantasy radar.
