Best NFL Plays of the Week: Tyler Lockett Torches the Arizona Defense

Mahomes is in a terrific spot playing at home against a Chargers defense that just came off a very difficult loss on Monday night against Dallas. Look for Mahomes to spread the ball around and throw it to several different receivers which will create a little havoc in the Chargers secondary. I think he's a pretty solid bet for 300 passing yards and at least two touchdowns.
Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks
We haven't seen Geno Smith play this year like we saw him play last year. Maybe it's because the Seattle offensive line has been injured or maybe it's just that it couldn't live up to last year's expectations but if there's ever a week for him to get it right it's this week at home against a Cardinals defense that doesn't put a lot of pressure on the QB and has a weak secondary. Look for Geno to get about 255 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Running Back
Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers
Jones is expected back and will be the lead ball carrier for the Packers in the best match-up that they've had all season. Jones hasn't been fully healthy since Week 2 when he injured his hamstring against the Bears. Look for him to have about 20 to 25 touches and at least 120 total yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.
Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks
The Cardinals give up big chunks of yardage to running backs as we saw last week in the second half as Kyren Williams blasted through their defense to the tune of 150 plus rushing yards. You know that Pete Carroll wants to run the ball as much as possible, but I feel like this is a three-touchdown week for the Seahawks where Smith gets 2 passing and Walker runs one in.
Wide Receiver
Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
I'm not sure that there's any team that can stop Keenan Allen. We saw that Dallas tried to do whatever they could to stop him and they were unsuccessful and the Chiefs will try as well but they don't have anybody who can stay with him either. Allen should see at least eight or nine catches for about 80 to 90 yards and possibly a touchdown.
Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
I've always said when Tyler Lockett plays well Seattle wins games. Lockett hasn't had that explosive game in a while and the Cardinals play a lot of zone defense and that's where Lockett thrives. Look for Geno Smith to take a couple of big shots downfield looking for Lockett.
Tight End
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
We know how good the Lions are at stopping the run but I think sometimes we forget how bad they are at covering opposing tight ends. Mark Andrews is one of those few tight ends on any slate that can score two touchdowns and I think that he and Lamar Jackson hook up twice this week making him the best tight end that you can have on your roster.
Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders
Call me crazy or call me a visionary but I think Thomas scores this week. He was the player who let us down the most in Week 6 considering he had the best matchup of the week. It's times like these where we get so disenchanted with the player that we swear that we never want to play them again and that's exactly when he finds his way into the end zone and we say to ourselves “Why didn't he do that last week?”
