Week 10 Fantasy Football QB and TE Droppables: Should you drop Jordan Love, Bryce Young, and Logan Thomas?
We're always looking to make moves in fantasy football, and this is going to be a weekly spot where we look at some of the most widely-dropped players across fantasy leagues and decide whether you should (or shouldn’t) cut bait with them – due to either underperformance, injury, or otherwise.
We covered waiver adds already, but in order to pick up someone, you have to drop someone. And that isn’t a decision you should take lightly. We’ve all made drops we’ve come to regret.
Let’s take a look at some of the most dropped quarterbacks and tight ends for Week 10 and decide if they’re actually drop-worthy.

Week 10 Fantasy Football Droppables
Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers
After a stellar start to the season, Love has come back down to Earth and currently sits at QB15 on the year. While he hasn't been abysmal as of late, he also hasn't been great and hasn't through for more than 230 yards in a game since Week 4. He's also only thrown four total touchdowns in the four games since Week 4. While Love has upside, he's also playing like more of a middling fantasy quarterback right now with fantasy point totals of 16 or less in each of his last four games (albeit with a decent floor in most of those games). With tough matchups against the Steelers, Chiefs, and Lions on the horizon, I don't think we need to hang onto Love if you have another decent option.
Verdict: Drop
Bryce Young, QB, Carolina Panthers
While C.J. Stroud lights things up in Houston, the player who went one pick ahead of him in the 2023 NFL Draft is struggling down in Carolina. Better days may come for Bryce Young, but he's not worth having on your fantasy roster right now. He's scored more than 15 fantasy points just once this season and has yet to throw for 250 yards in a game. He's also coming off a three interception performance against the Colts and shouldn't be rostered outside of superflex or deep leagues at this point.
Verdict: Drop
Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Speaking of players who shouldn't be rostered right now, I'm not sure why so many people are holding on to Kenny Pickett. Between his lack of upside and the awful system he's playing in, Pickett doesn't provide much fantasy value and is currently QB26 on the season (just one spot ahead of Young). He's put up more than 15 fantasy points just twice on the year and has all of one total touchdown pass in his last three games combined. You can do much better than Pickett.
Verdict: Drop
Logan Thomas, TE, Washington Commanders
Thomas has had a couple of great games this season, but he's also been pretty rough for fantasy purposes over the last month with just one game of more than 10 fantasy points. Is it time to cut bait? Normally, I'd say yes, but the tight end landscape is absolutely abysmal, and Thomas is still seeing enough targets to warrant a roster spot with an average of almost seven targets a game over his last three. We'll revisit this one over the next few weeks, but Thomas is a hold for me for now.
Verdict: Hold
Hunter Henry, TE, New England Patriots
The Patriots have a complete lack of good pass catching options, so Henry is an automatic weekly play as one of their best options, right? Not so fast. The veteran is coming off one of his best games in weeks, but he's entirely touchdown-dependent in an offense that doesn't score a lot of touchdowns. While he saw seven targets last Sunday, Henry is just TE18 on the year and is severely limited by the offense he plays in. I wouldn't drop him just to drop him, but there are higher upside tight ends out there.
Verdict: Drop
Trey McBride, TE, Arizona Cardinals
You went all-in on McBride on your waiver wire, and he rewarded you with a stinker of a Week 9 game. Should you cut him? While I undersetand the sentiment, I think that's a bit too knee-jerk and reactionary. McBride likely isn't going to catch 10 balls on 14 targets like he did in Week 8, but I also think he's better than the three catches for 25 yards he put up this past weekend with Clayton Tune under center. With Kyler Murray supposedly coming back this weekend, I think we need to hold onto McBride and see where things go.
Verdict: Hold
