Poised for Positive Regression and a Promising Third-Year Breakout in Los Angeles
Ladd McConkey enters his third season anchoring the Chargers' passing game as the primary slot receiver. After taking a step back in 2025 with 789 yards, McConkey is primed for a major bounce-back under a new offensive system. Our projections expect a highly efficient campaign, anticipating 77 receptions on 111 targets for 991 yards and six touchdowns.
Although a minor offseason hamstring strain kept him limited during minicamp, head coach Jim Harbaugh downplayed any long-term concern, and McConkey expects to be fully healthy for training camp. Fantasy managers are paying close attention; his PPR ADP has steadily risen from the mid-40s in May to a secure spot near pick 40 in June drafts, reflecting strong market momentum.
Operating alongside teammates Quentin Johnston and Tre' Harris on the depth chart, McConkey faces minimal threat to his role as the high-volume option in this passing attack.
