Week 15 Fantasy Football Streaming Options: Sam Howell, Chris Rodriguez, Hunter Henry, and More!
A look at all the best streaming plays for Week 15 at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end.
It's been a LONG season and I hope this article finds you at least limping into the fantasy playoffs. Whether it's due to injury or underperformance, we all likely have a hole or two in our fantasy lineups. And that means, we need a streamer for the fantasy playoffs...yikes.
Fear not, my friends. As I've been doing all season, I'm here to unearth the best streaming options that you can likely find on waivers and plug into your starting lineup for that week. There are some good ones out there for Week 15, so let's dig in!
Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including predictive waiver analytics to help prioritize waiver pickups, projections, auction values, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant.
Quarterback
Sam Howell, Washington Commanders
Howell has somehow put up top-10 fantasy numbers at the quarterback position this year, despite his pathway there looking like a complete rollercoaster. While he may not be a great real-life quarterback, the second-year player has been a very good fantasy quarterback this season. He'll get a nice matchup against a Rams defense that hasn't been able to stop anyone lately and is positioned to be a QB1 this week.
Jake Browning, Cincinnati Bengals
Browning has had back-to-back top-5 fantasy finishes and gets a very mediocre Vikings defense in Week 15. Tee Higgins looks to be fully healthy, so Browning will also have his full arsenal of weapons at his disposal. I'm not sure we can bank on another top-5 finish from Browning, but I wouldnt' be shocked if he puts up QB1 numbers -- which is really all you can ask for from a streamer.
Running Back
Chris Rodriguez, Washington Commanders
With Brian Robinson out, Rodriguez is nicely positioned to step in and give us 10-15 touches from a very tough position to stream at this point in the year. While Antonio Gibson will figure into the equation, I actually think Rodriguez will be used as more of a bellcow back with Gibson being relegated to passing down situations. While risky, Rodriguez could very easily finish as a top-25 running back this week.
Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings
Chandler may not be that much of a "going out on a limb" pick as he'll be the starter for the Vikings, but he's available on a lot of waiver wires so we'll consider him a streamer. If he's out there on your waiver wire, go grab him now and slot him into your starting lineup against a Bengals defense that has given up yards on the ground this year.
Wide Receiver
Xavier Hutchinson, Houston Texans
The Texans wide receiver position has turned into a game of attrition with Nico Collins and Tank Dell both out this week (and beyond for Dell). While C.J. Stroud is looking doubtful, the Texans will have to throw the ball, and Hutchinson outsnapped both Robert Woods and Noah Brown last week. Is he risky? Absolutely. But what streaming option isn't?
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars
Washington is in a similar spot to Hutchinson in that he's been forced into a larger role due to injuries. While he's a bit of a thin play due to his lack of volume, he found the end zone last week and has seen nine total targets over his last two games. While a desperation play, Washington is a solid Week 15 streamer.
Tight End
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
Kraft has been good lately (well, as much as a waiver tight end can be) and has seen 10 targets over his last two games. He caught four balls for 64 yards last week and has finished as a top-20 tight end for three straight weeks. While he hasn't quite cracked into "safe" territory, he'll likely see 5-7 targets with the Packers dealing with wide receiver injury and is a solid streaming start this week.
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots
Henry has been a bit of an afterthought all season, but he exploded last week with two touchdowns as Bailey Zappe looked for him quite a bit. The Patriots receiver room is a mess, and Henry is going to benefit as he's the most trustworthy option in that offense. Get him in there against the Chiefs.
I wish you all the best of luck in Week 15, and I’ll see you back here next week to see if we can find some hidden gems for Week 16.
