Week 16 Fantasy Football Streaming Options: Chase Brown, Joshua Palmer, Cade Otton, and More!
A look at all the best streaming plays for Week 16 at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end.
It's been a LONG season and I hope this article finds you in the fantasy playoffs. But fantasy playoffs or not, we all still likely have a hole or two in our fantasy lineups. And that means, we need a streamer for the fantasy playoffs...yikes.
Fear not, my friends. As I've been doing all season, I'm here to unearth the best streaming options that you can likely find on waivers and plug into your starting lineup for that week. There are some good ones out there for Week 16, so let's dig in!

Quarterback
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccanners
It's been an up-and-down season for Baker, but he's been on a hot streak as of late with two straight games of 20-plus fantasy points. During those two games, he's thrown six touchdowns and zero interceptions. Mayfield will now face a Jaguars defense that hasn't been stopping anyone as of late, and has a very good chance to finish as a QB1 this week.
Nick Mullens, Minnesota Vikings
Mullens looked awful in spurts last week, but he also put up 19 fantasy points so we can't complain too much. He has a great set of weapons around him in Justin Jefferson, T.J. Hockenson, and Jordan Addison, and will face a Lions defense that has given up points to opposing quarterbacks this year. While Mullens is still a little risky, he's a solid desperation play if you need one.
Running Back
Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
While Brown isn't getting huge volume in the Bengals' rushing attack with 7-9 carries per game over his last three, he's seeing decent work as a passing back with three targets (and catches) in each of his last two games. While we're not looking at HUGE upside here, there isn't much out there in terms of a running back streamer, and Brown offers double-digit fantasy point potential.
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans
Spears is similar to Brown in that he doesn't usually see more than 7-9 carries per game, but still sees a decent amount of work in the Titans' passing game. While he only saw one target last week, he had a combined total of 14 targets in his previous two games before that. Also similarly to Brown, Spears doesn't have HUGE upside, but he gives us a chance at double-digit points from a running back streamer.
Wide Receiver
Joshua Palmer, Los Angeles Chargers
Palmer returned from injury in a big way last week in putting up 17 fantasy points. It's worth noting that a big chunk of those came on a 79-yard catch while the Chargers were down big, but fantasy points are fantasy points. I'm a little wary of Palmer as the Chargers are being led at quarterback by Easton Stick, but Palmer should see five-plus targets while the Chargers likely throw a lot to keep up with the Bills.
Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals
Boyd doesn't have massive upside as he's more of a slot receiver, but he should see more targets with Ja'Marr Chase out this week. While Boyd hasn't scored since Week 8, we only need 4-5 catches and 40-50 yards to make him a solid streaming start and there's really no reason he shouldn't put up those type of numbers against a bad Steelers secondary.
Tight End
Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers
I'm not sure if Kraft even counts as a streamer anymore, but I'm going with it since he's still not on a ton of fantasy rosters. The rookie has seen at least four targets in each of his last three games and two of those games have brought six targets. The rookie is coming off his best games of the season last week and should see even more love in the Packers' passing game if multiple receivers are out this week (which looks like will be the case).
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Otton is a tad touchdown-dependent as he's only caught two passes in each of his last two games, but he did score two weeks ago and has seen close to double-digit targets from Mayfield at points this season. We're still looking at a bit of a desperation play here, but that's what this article is for!
I wish you all the best of luck in Week 16, and I’ll see you back here next week to see if we can find some hidden gems for Week 17.
