Zay Flowers Prop Bets
Flowers comes into week 17 with average lines of 57.5 receiving yards and 4.5 receptions. Flowers is 10-5 against his reception lines this season, while going 8-7 against his receiving yard lines.
Flowers has gone over that receiving yard line seven times this season, including last week. The rookie has five or more receptions on nine occasions, reaching that mark in three of the past four contests.
The rookie wideout has an average matchup against the Miami Dolphins on deck. Miami allows opposing receivers to go for 13.2 receptions and 148.4 receiving yards per week. Flowers leads Baltimore in several receiving statistics.
Flowers is dealing with a calf injury, but returned to practice on Friday.
Verdict: If Flowers is cleared to play, I like him to go over 57.5 receiving yards and 4.5 receptions this week. Keep an eye on his status as the game approaches, and you might even be able to get a lower line for Flowers.
Matthew Stafford Prop Bets
Stafford heads into week 17 with average lines of 258.5 passing yards and 1.5 passing touchdowns. Stafford is 7-7 against his passing yard lines this season, while going 5-9 against his passing TD lines.
Stafford has been on a tear recently. He’s thrown multiple touchdowns in five straight games. Stafford has gone over that passing line in three of those games, missing it another time by a single yard.
He’s got an average matchup ahead against the New York Giants. New York’s defense allows 242.4 passing yards and 1.3 passing touchdowns per game.
Verdict: I like Stafford to stay hot this week and go over 258.5 passing yards and 1.5 passing touchdowns. The only thing I worry about is the Rams blowing the Giants out, but I like New York to keep things close enough for Stafford to have to pass plenty.
Rachaad White Prop Bets
White has an average line of 91.5 total rushing and receiving yards for week 17. White is 7-8 against that stat this season - he went under last week, but over in the four games prior to that.
For the season, White has reached at least 92 total yards on nine occasions. Last week was his first time not hitting that mark in the past five games.
White has a matchup with the New Orleans Saints this weekend. That’s a tougher matchup, as the Saints’ defense only allows opposing RBs to average 95.3 rushing yards and 21.1 receiving yards.
White has been the team’s workhorse all season, and should be again this week. He had 78 total yards the last times the teams met, but that was way back in week 4.
Verdict: I like White to continue his strong season and finish with over 91.5 total rushing and receiving yards in week 17.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba Prop Bets
Smith-Njigba comes into week 17 with average lines of 44.5 receiving yards and 4.5 receptions. JSN is a strong 10-5 against his receiving yard lines and 10-4 against his reception lines this season.
Smith Njigba has gone for at least 45 yards seven times this season, including the last two games. The rookie has had five or more grabs just four times.
The Seahawks play the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 17. It’s an average matchup on paper, as the Steelers’ defense allows 11.9 receptions and 171.9 receiving yards per week.
JSN is dealing with a knee injury, but should be good to play on Sunday.
Verdict: I like Smith-Njigba to hit on a couple big plays to help the Seahawks’ offense out, but I think there’s too many mouths to feed for him to get too many grabs. Give me over 44.5 receiving yards and under 4.5 receptions for the rookie.
Justin Jefferson Prop Bets
Jefferson enters his week 17 matchup with an average line of 79.5 receiving yards. The Vikings’ star is 5-3 against his receiving yard lines this season.
Jefferson has topped 80 yards in all but two of the eight games he’s played in this season. He’s gone over in two straight contests.
He’s going up against the Green Bay Packers this week, who will be without top cornerback Jaire Alexander. Green Bay’s defense allows opposing wideouts to average 151.2 receiving yards per game, which seems very doable for Jefferson with tight end T.J. Hockenson out and wideout Jordan Addison dealing with an injury.
Verdict: I like Jefferson to go over 79.5 receiving yards in week 17. It’s a mark I think he could hit by halftime as long as rookie QB Jaren Hall doesn’t fold under pressure.
