Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers | OVER 1.5 TD Passes (FantasySP projects 2.2)
If there was ever a get right week for the 49ers this is it. After being embarrassed last game at home against Baltimore they travel on the road to Washington to play the hapless commanders. While a lot of people assume that Christian McCaffrey will probably run at least two touchdowns in I think the 49ers put up at least four touchdown, and two of those will be Purdy TD passes. While the MVP is still much in debate I don't think the outcome of this game is and it should be an easy over.
No player loves to play in big games more than Beckham. These are the situations that he lives for. To go up against the number two team in the AFC in a game that home field advantage hinges on is the perfect recipe for him to lead the team in receiving. I think that 32.5 receiving yards seems very low and I even think that the fantasy SP projection is low as well. Look for Beckham to put up about 60 to 70 receiving yards in this game.
Rudolph threw for 290 passing yards last week against the Bengals and took some real chances downfield and threw two touchdown passes to George Pickens on broken plays. I don't expect that to happen this week against the Seahawks who have a very good secondary. But I do see the Steelers playing from behind and that should mean that Rudolph will be passing a lot in the second-half and I think he should just eke out this over here which makes it a solid bet.
Saquon Barkley, New York Giants | OVER 2.5 receptions (FantasySP projects 3)
The giants don't have a ton to play for but I think that Tyrod Taylor will end up being the starting quarterback this week as the team seemed to respond to him in the second-half against the Eagles. Taylor knows how to get the ball to his receivers as well as to his running backs out of the backfield and we haven't really seen Barkley be his dominant self as a receiver much this year. I think this will be a higher scoring game than most people imagine and I would think that three receptions seems like a number that's pretty healthy and I wouldn't mind going up the ladder to four or five as well.
