It’s time for another NFL team fantasy football preview.

We’ve looked at the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions and will be covering the Tennessee Titans today.

Check back soon for more team previews. Of course, things will change between now and the start of the season, and FantasySP will cover any major changes when those happen.

Will Levis Fantasy Outlook

After doing some nice things in his rookie season, Levis is ready to go through a full season as the Titans’ starting quarterback.

In nine games last season, the Titans went 3-6. Levis completed 149 of his 255 attempts for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions. Levis rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on 25 attempts.

Tennessee has a worse running back room than a season ago, but a lot more talent in the wide receiver room. That should mean positive things for Levis from a fantasy perspective.

Levis is being taken 23rd amongst QBs in fantasy drafts right now. At pick 166 or so, he’s right on the edge of fantasy relevance, but might start the season available in at least 50% of leagues.

His ADP could rise as the preseason rolls along, but right now, I’d view Levis as a streaming option to start the season.

Running Back Fantasy Outlooks

Derrick Henry is gone, and Tony Pollard was signed in the offseason, so the Tennessee backfield is going to look different this season. Tyjae Spears is a solid backup option, and could end up being the team’s top back by the end of the season.

As the Cowboys’ No. 1 RB last season, Pollard was pretty average. He rushed for 1,005 yards and six scores on 252 attempts. Pollard caught 55 of his 67 targets for an additional 311 yards, but no scores.

Spears played in 17 games as a rookie for the Titans in 2023. He rushed for 453 yards and two touchdowns across 100 attempts. Spears caught 52 of his 70 targets for 385 yards and a score.

Hassan Haskins is the team’s No. 3 option right now, but he’d likely only play if Pollard or Spears were out an extended time. In 15 games in 2022, Haskins had 150 total yards on 36 touches, but no scores.

Haskins can safely be left off fantasy draft boards, outside of the deepest and wildest league formats.

Pollard is viewed as the team’s top fantasy option. He’s RB26 and going around pick 78 right now. Spears is RB34 and going around pick 103.

I’m not a big fan of Pollard this season, and think he’s better as a No. 2 option, but at his ADP, he’s not a bad pick. He’s got a decent amount of upside, but unless the position is ravished by injuries, I don’t see Pollard finishing inside the top 20.

I am more of a fan of Spears, and believe he’ll be the Tennessee back to own at some point this season. At his current ADP, there’s some decent value when picking Spears. Ideally, I’d wait another round or two to grab him, but as a believer in Spears, I’m fine taking him near his ADP.

Wide Receiver Fantasy Outlooks

DeAndre Hopkins is back for the Titans, but he’ll have Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd alongside him too. Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Phillips are the top backups right now.

In 17 games last season, Hopkins hauled in 75 of his 137 targets for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns.

Ridley played in 17 games for the Jaguars a season ago. He had 76 catches on 136 targets for 1,016 yards and eight scores.

Boyd was with Cincinnati the first eight years of his career. In 17 games a season ago, he made 67 grabs on 98 targets for 667 yards and two scores.

Burks had 252 less total yards in his second NFL season. He didn’t score and only got 21 touches.

Westbrook-Ikhine had 370 receiving yards and three scores last season. That was his worst yardage over the past three seasons, but has scored at least three times in those campaigns.

Phillips appeared in nine games last season, hauling in 15 of his 22 targets for 181 yards and no touchdowns.

Ridley is the top Tennessee WR off fantasy draft boards, going 34th at the position and around pick 79

Hopkins is WR42 and going around pick 95. Boyd is WR83 and going around pick 240. The team’s other wideouts are going after pick 350.

I was torn on whether Ridley or Hopkins was going to be the top fantasy option for the team this season. Hopkins is dealing with a knee injury already, so I’m saying Ridley leads the way.

There’s some good value at Ridley’s current ADP, with not a ton of risk involved. Getting a possible WR1 there is never a bad thing, so I’m all for taking Ridley.

Drafting soon could mean you land Hopkins at a later pick because of the injury concern. The injury shouldn’t impact his availability much into the regular season, so while there’s risk involved with picking Hopkins, I’m all for it near that ADP.

Boyd is a deep league fantasy option, but a streaming option in standard leagues to start the season. He’ll likely have some nice weeks, but they might be hard to predict.

All of the other Titans’ receivers can be avoided in most fantasy leagues. They’d likely only be able to be fantasy assets if a couple injuries occur, so you should be able to pick one of them up if their usage ever increases.

Tight End Fantasy Outlooks

Chigoziem Okonkwo is the Titans' top tight end going into the season. Josh Whyle is the backup, but pretty far off the fantasy radar right now.

Okonkwo played in 17 games with Tennessee last season, making 54 catches on 77 targets for 528 yards and a touchdown. He had 452 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie season.

Whyle played in 11 games, but only had nine grabs on 15 targets for 94 yards and a score. He was a rookie last season.

Okonkwo is clearly the Tennessee tight end to own this season. He’s TE23 and going around pick 186 right now. Whyle is only an option in the deepest fantasy leagues.

Okonkwo is a borderline draftable player in standard leagues, but is most often not being selected. He’ll probably be rostered in 30-35% of leagues by the time the regular season kicks off.

There’s more pass catchers on the roster than a season ago, and after below-average overall results in 2023, I’d view Okonkwo as a streaming option in standard leagues. He could get hot and be startable for a few weeks in a row, but he just hasn’t been consistent enough over his first couple seasons to trust as a late-round pick. I do like Okonkwo in deeper leagues however, whether that be as a possible starting option each week, or as a depth option.
