Final Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 18: Tua Tagovailoa, Chase Brown, Deebo Samuel, Chig Okonkwo
All in the injuries you need to know for fantasy and gambling in the final week of the season.
Quarterbacks
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (Hip)
Tua has once again been listed as doubtful for a must-win game on Sunday. Tyler Huntley is in line for another start unless there is some sort of drastic change prior to game time. The absence of Tua is a significant downgrade for everyone on the offense.
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles (Concussion/Finger)
Odds are Hurts wouldn't be playing anyway, but he is going to miss this game due to a concussion and finger injury, according to the team's injury report. Kenny Pickett's status is also up in the air for this one due to an injury of his own. The weapons would be downgraded for this game, however, it doesn't look like any of them will be playing anyway.
Drake Maye, New England Patriots (Hand)
Despite being listed as questionable for Week 18, Maye is reportedly set to play on Sunday.
Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts (Back)
Richardson has been ruled out for the Colts' season finale and Joe Flacco will close out the season with one more start. That's good news for all the Indy wideouts.
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers (Elbow)
The Niners are downplaying Purdy's elbow injury but he's not going to play this week. It's unclear if he would have been active if this game was more meaningful for the team.
Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints (Hand)
Carr's season is over. He will not play in Week 18 as the Saints' season mercifully comes to an end.
Running Backs
Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals (Ankle)
Brown is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game and sounds like a long shot to play. If he is unable to suit up, Khalil Herbert would be propelled into a starting role.
Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs (Ankle)
Pacheco will be sidelined for this meaningless game with an ankle injury which will leave his health as a question mark heading into the playoffs. We'd expect him to be ready to go by round two considering that the Chiefs will have a first-round bye. Kareem Hunt is also expected to rest, leaving Samaje Perine or Carson Steele as the potential top back.
Gus Edwards, Los Angeles Chargers (Ankle)
Edwards has once again been ruled out this week and J.K. Dobbins is set to get another hefty workload.
Ameer Abdullah, Las Vegas Raiders (Foot)
Abdullah is considered doubtful to play in Week 18, which leaves Alexander Mattison as the last man standing in this backfield.
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints (Groin)
Kamara won't be playing in the season finale in Week 18. Kendre Miller has also been ruled out with a concussion. That could leave Clyde Edwards-Helaire as the most intriguing fantasy option in New Orleans.
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans (Ankle)
Pollard is a game-time decision for Week 18 and looks to be on the wrong side of questionable. Tyjae Spears has also been ruled out due to a concussion. If Pollard can't go, it would leave Julius Chestnut as the lead back.
Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns (Ankle)
Ford has been ruled out for Week 18. With Nick Chubb, Pierre Strong, and Ford out, D'Onta Foreman is the only running back left on this offense.
Wide Receivers
Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals (Ankle)
Higgins is questionable for Week 18 but is expected to suit up in a must-win game.
Deebo Samuel Sr., San Francisco (Wrist/Ribs)
Samuel is going to miss the team's final game. Like a handful of his teammates, it's unclear if the injury is serious or it's simply not worth the risk in a meaningless game. Either way, his season is over.
Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins (Knee)
Waddle is questionable for Week 18 and it sounds like he has a good shot to return. His presence would be a nice boost for Huntley in a must-win game, but neither player is a strong fantasy option.
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers (Knee)
The oft-injured wideout is once again questionable this week. He has a shot to play, but we'd expect him to be held out or at least limited this week.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints (Concussion)
Olave has been practicing and is officially listed as questionable for Week 18. However, it's hard to imagine they would put him out there in this game.
Tight Ends
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (Hamstring/Ankle)
Kittle is questionable for Week 18 with a number of nagging injuries that have plagued him for months. Common sense would say the team probably shuts him down, but he strikes us as a guy who will do everything he can to get on the field.
Chig Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans (Abdomen)
Okonkwo looks to be on the wrong side of questionable for Week 18. Don't plan on having him if you're season is ongoing.
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Knee)
Otton will miss the Bucs final game of the regular season and his status should the Bucs make the playoffs is unclear.
