Where NFC Cut Candidates could Land | Derek Carr, Deebo Samuel Sr. and Taysom Hill
Morgan looks at some possible cut candidates from a couple lists from NFL.com and determines possible landing spots for offensive fantasy players.
After looking at where some AFC cut candidates could land, let's go over the NFC players who were mentioned in an article at NFL.com.
We'll only look at some offensive fantasy players. Let's go!

Derek Carr's Landing Spots
Carr is a possible post-June 1 cut according to the article, and there'd probably be a couple teams interested in adding Carr if he is let loose.
The Cleveland Browns could use a quarterback as they look to figure out the mess they are in with Deshaun Watson. Carr could be a bridge quarterback who likely wouldn't cost a lot, but still gives the team a decent chance to win.
I think the Indianapolis Colts are an interesting destination. I don't think they should give up on Anthony Richardson, but if they do, adding a veteran like Carr makes some sense.
I don't think the Raiders would want Carr back, but Las Vegas does need a quarterback desperately. Like in the case with Cleveland, Carr could be a bridge quarterback as the Raiders start building for the future.
The Los Angeles Rams could be a landing spot if Matthew Stafford isn't re-signed. If not Stafford, I think the Rams go after a better QB though.
Minnesota could maybe add Carr if they can't, or don't want to, retain Sam Darnold. This move would only make sense if J.J. McCarthy isn't ready to play next year though, as otherwise the team is just stunting the youngster's growth.
The New York Giants also need a quarterback, but they should be more interested in acquiring a young one. Having Carr there to mentor and start until that QB is ready to roll makes some sense though.
Something similar could happen with the New York Jets. It makes more sense to blow things up and start over though, and a veteran QB doesn't really make sense in that scenario.
The Pittsburgh Steelers make some sense, although like in the case with the Rams, I think there's better options out there for the Steelers to chase.
The Seattle Seahawks might also take a look at Carr, but I'm not sure if he moves the needle over Geno Smith.
The Tennessee Titans are a team in a similar boat as the Giants or Raiders. They are looking for a young QB, but could have Carr start until their rookie is ready to go.
Deebo Samuel Sr.'s Landing Spots
Samuel is likely to be traded, but could also be cut if the right deal doesn't come about. He should have plenty of suitors, but probably only would want to play for a contender.
The Arizona Cardinals make some sense, and they have some cap space to play with this offseason. He could help mentor Marvin Harrison Jr., while giving Kyler Murray another trusted pass catcher to throw to.
I think Samuel going to the Baltimore Ravens is a fun option. The Ravens are a contender, but don't have much cap space to work with. Samuel would be a nice boost to their offense though.
Chicago could also be interested in Samuel, but I think there's bigger needs the team needs to address. Samuel and the Bears is definitely a possibility though.
Should the Bengals lose Tee Higgins, Samuel could be a possible replacement. Samuel could be used as a pass catcher and ball carrier in an already great offense, which would be fun to see.
I could see the Dallas Cowboys opening up some cap space to add Samuel to the fold. Dallas needs some more proven pass catchers outside CeeDee Lamb, and adding Samuel would definitely improve the offense.
Denver, Detroit, Houston and Green Bay are four playoff teams from this past season with a need for receiver help. Some have more cap space to make the move work. I think Samuel in Detroit would be fun, even after Ben Johnson's departure.
Indianapolis is close enough to contention to appeal to Samuel. I think the team has bigger needs, but adding a versatile offensive player like Samuel would definitely give the offense a jolt.
The Kansas City Chiefs are probably going to talk to every available wide receiver this offseason. It'd be a nice fit for Samuel and a needed playmaker for the Chiefs.
The Los Angeles Chargers and Rams could both use a veteran wideout like Samuel. Both are contenders and have cap space to burn.
The Eagles could use a third receiver, and Samuel would thrive in that role and in that offense. Philly isn't going to slow down after winning it all, and I could definitely see Samuel landing in Philly.
The Pittsburgh Steelers also really need receiver help, although they have other big needs too. This could be a sneaky good landing spot for Samuel though.
Tampa Bay is another team who could maybe need some more receiver help. I don't think it's a big need though, so I don't see this move happening.
A team I could definitely see Samuel playing for is the Washington Commanders. They have cap space and a big need for receiver help. Samuel in an offense with a dynamic QB like Jayden Daniels could be fun.
Taysom Hill's Landing Spots
Hill is another big fantasy player mentioned in the NFC article on NFL.com, and I want to end my story discussing him.
If he ends up getting cut, Hill could be a fun name to land with several teams. Because Hill can fill so many roles, there's not many teams who wouldn't be interested in him.
A team with a need at running back and wide receiver/tight end makes the most sense for a landing spot.
The Bears make some sense, as do the Panthers, Browns, Cowboys, Jaguars, Raiders, Patriots and Giants.
Adding him to a contending team could be really fun for fantasy owners, even if Hill doesn't have a huge role on a weekly basis.
Getting him on the Ravens, Bills, Bengals, Broncos, Lions, Packers, Texans, Colts, Chiefs, Chargers, Rams, Vikings, Eagles, Steelers, 49ers, Buccaneers or Commanders would make plenty of sense.
