Best Fantasy Hockey Pickups Week 4: Travis Sanheim, Jake Allen, Ryan Strome
Heading into Week 4 of the season, we are seeing the waiver wire thin out. It is more important to pay attention to injuries and schedules when deciding who to roster or pick up for the week.
It does look like we will have Connor McDavid back this week. There is also a lot of “flu” going through NHL locker rooms right now, so keep an eye out for last-minute scratches.

Best Fantasy Hockey Pickups Week 4
D Travis Sanheim, Philadelphia Flyers
Sanheim is the must-add player of the week. The Flyers' top line has improved this year, and he is a big reason for it. In eight games, Sanheim has eight points, 21 shots, and 14 blocks.
G Jake Allen, Montreal Canadiens
Allen is starting the season rejuvenated and on a hot streak. He is 3-0-1 so far this season, with a GAA of 2.65% and a 9.30% Save percentage. Montreal allows a ton of shots, so there is some risk, but I like to play the hot hand. He is rostered in less than 35% of Yahoo leagues.
C Ryan Strome, Anaheim Ducks
You can pick up anyone on Anaheim’s second line, but Strome is criminally undervalued. In eight games, he has two goals and eight assists for 10 points. He is also a +5 on a mediocre Ducks team.
