It had been a long time since Tyler Higbee found the end zone, but he finally scored a touchdown in the Rams’ Week 12 game against the Arizona Cardinals. It’s the first time a Rams tight end has gotten into the end zone this season and the first time since Week 16 of last season for Higbee himself.
The touchdown came on the Rams’ opening drive Sunday against Arizona, a 7-yard pass from Matthew Stafford where Higbee made a defender miss in the open field and he walked into the end zone for six points.
It gave the Rams an early cushion against the Cardinals, in part thanks to a fourth-down conversion by Kyren Williams earlier in the drive

Game News
The Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals are squaring off for the second time this season, this time at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. After beating the Seattle Seahawks a week ago, the Rams are trying to make it two straight wins by sealing their second season sweep of an NFC West foe.
The Rams beat the Cardinals, 26-9, back in Week 6, which was the last game Kyren Williams played before going on injured reserve. Fortunately, he’s back this week and will regain his role as the Rams’ starting running back after rushing for 158 yards against Arizona six weeks ago
The Los Angeles Rams’ injury concerns were at a minimum this week heading into their matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, despite Cooper Kupp giving everyone a scare with a sprained ankle suffered last week. Kupp is good to go after recovering quickly, as is Puka Nacua, who’s dealing with a shoulder injury.
The only player ruled out on Friday was Quentin Lake, while Ben Skowronek was the only player listed as questionable due to a hip injury. Skowronek is active and will play against Arizona, however.
Oddly, Tyler Higbee is inactive despite not being listed on the injury report at any time this week. Brycen Hopkins is also inactive, and he was not on the injury report, either. It appears both are shockingly healthy scratches. With Higbee and Hopkins out, rookie Davis Allen could be in for a bigger workload, as well as Hunter Long
Before the season started, no one said Kyren Williams was the Rams’ most valuable offensive skill player. We all thought that title belonged to Cooper Kupp, and after a few weeks, maybe even Puka Nacua.
But after Sunday’s win over the Cardinals, it seems Williams might be the key to the Rams’ offense. This was his first game since Week 6 when he rushed for 158 yards against these same Cardinals, but he didn’t miss a beat after sitting out four games due to an ankle injury.
He rushed for 143 yards on only 16 carries, and also added 61 yards receiving on six catches. Williams scored two touchdowns, too, giving him four multi-score games in just seven games played
Kobie Turner is a third-round rookie for the Rams but you wouldn’t know that by watching him each and every week. He looks like a seasoned veteran, recording his third sack of the season against the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.
After taking down Kyler Murray for a 6-yard loss on third-and-7, Turner pulled out a fantastic celebration. Nicknamed “the conductor” for his singing chops, Turner pretended to lead an orchestra after his sack to force a Cardinals punt.
Turner took advantage of all the attention paid to Aaron Donald on the play by quickly beating his block and sacking Murray
The NFL continues its hyper-punitive trend this season of doling out fines left and right to players. The latest victim, Seattle Seahawks rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon. During Seattle’s Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Rams, Witherspoon made a critical stop… which was later flagged, and gave the Rams a first down.
See for yourself the truly “vicious” and “dangerous” play Witherspoon inflicted upon Austin Trammell. Clearly, this is “deserving” of such a lofty fine, right?

Both listed as Questionable
Cardinals’ WR Marquise Brown, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a heel injury, is expected to play vs. the Rams, per source. Cardinals’ RB Emari Demercado, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a toe injury, also is expected to play. (Adam Schefter on X)
FF Today's Take: Brown missed two practices this week which is cause for concern, however it sounds like he's going to play. The Cardinals No.1 receiver has been a disappointment this season making him a Flex option only in Week 12.Demercado missed last week's game which allowed Tony Jones to operate as the backup running back behind James Conner. Demercado's availability shouldn't affect Conner's value.
It may have been a missed penalty, but the Houston faithful won’t care.

In his third game back from injury, cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. gathered his second interception of the season and his second career pick of Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence. It was his second consecutive interception after also picking off Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray during their win over Arizona last week
