#Steelers OT Broderick Jones: “Aw man… You were mic'd up?!?! ” Mike Tomlin: “SHUT UP…. SHUT YO A** UP” 😂😂😂😂 #Steelers are on for the in-season Hard Knocks. (🎥 @bepryor) pic.x.com/3Nl9qjjkZl

Najee Harris says Pat Freiermuth's girlfriend made a great Thanksgiving dinner, and he didn't realize how hard it hit him until the first quarter today. He sat out a series or two, got some oranges and was ok after that. pic.x.com/h4Oevw7ik6

Justin Fields didn't slide too early that time. First down seals it. Steelers will win 44-38
Russell Wilson's 257 pass yards at halftime are the most in a first half in his career.

@bepryor: Chris Boswell hits a 34-yard field goal as the first half comes to a close.
Steelers lead 27-21
Russell Wilson is 21/27 (wow that's ironic) for 257 yards, 2 TDs
Najee Harris is the Steelers leading receiver 5/5, 51 yards
TJ Watt strip sack, Preston Smith recovers it. Welcome back to the box score, TJ
Tip drill! Donte Jackson comes up with the Steelers' second forced turnover of the day. Cam Heyward got a finger on that to start things off.
Those aren't boos you're hearing from Paul Brown Stadium. Russell Wilson gets the ball out as he goes down to Pat Freiermuth for a 30-yard score. Steelers go up 10, 34-24 with 22 seconds to go in the third.
Big time recovery by Connor Heyward on the onside attempt. Danny Smith's gum wad survives a bit longer.
Paycor Stadium starting to clear out after a strip sack that leads to a TD for PIT's Payton Wilson. Bengals down 41-24 with 11:06 left and that might be curtains on the team's playoff chances for 2024.
Could T.J. Watt and Trey Hendrickson both have 4 sacks EACH today? 👀@NFLGameDay pic.x.com/deLH2tbUVG
Alex Highsmith's return will wait another week. He's inactive vs. Bengals. Others: No. 4 QB Kyle Allen (3rd QB), No. 13 WR Scotty Miller, No. 35 RB Jonathan Ward, No. 64 OG Max Scharping
Najee Harris is on the sideline with his helmet on but Cordarrelle Patterson was in on first and second down. Warren in on third.
WR Mike Williams’ journey with the Pittsburgh Steelers has been up-and-down, to say the least. From being acquired from the New York Jets to scoring the game-winning TD in Week 10, to being practically nonexistent on offense the past two weeks, could Williams finally have his breakout moment in Week 13?
Williams could benefit from a below-average Cincinnati pass defense, as the Bengals are ranked 23rd in passing yards per game, allowing 225.6 yards. The big-bodied Williams could also see additional red zone opportunities, as his first and only Steelers reception went for a TD. He’ll face one of the NFL’s worst red zone defenses in Week 13. The Bengals currently rank 31st in TDs allowed in the red zone and 30th in total TDs allowed
In the aftermath of a frustrating offensive performance, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow took a moment to spotlight an opponent who made a significant impact: Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cameron Heyward.
After a challenging 2023 season marred by injury, Heyward has roared back in 2024, delivering another standout showing with five tackles, including two for loss, a pass defended, and his fifth sack of the season.
Burrow acknowledged Heyward’s pivotal 3rd quarter sack, an eight-yard loss that underscored the veteran defender’s dominant presence
Joey Porter Jr. has delivered some great coverage performances thus far in 2024, but his issues with penalties continue to haunt the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the first three quarters of Week 13’s matchup between the Steelers and Bengals, Porter committed several completely unnecessary penalties that put Cincinnati in prime scoring position.
With less than nine minutes to go in the fourth-quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 13 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals, Porter added two more penalty-worthy plays to what has been a lackluster day from the young Steelers defender
In NFL history, six QBs have averaged 275 passing yards/game and had 30 TDs and 5 or fewer INT through the first 12 games of the season. Joe Burrow is the only one of them to have a losing record. Four of the five won NFL MVP that season. (via ESPN Research)

#Bengals LB Logan Wilson (knee) is listed as questionable, but viewed as unlikely to be able to play against the #Steelers, source said.
Mike Tomlin says Tee Higgins, who he called "a goon" -- one of the highest Mike T compliments -- , had a lot do with JPJ's penalties today: "You cannot let a big dude like that beat you up. You got to match the fire with the fire. "You hope that you do it clean enough that it doesn't draw a bunch of penalties. We weren't as successful in that regard today. We'll keep working but one thing we're not going to do is let that guy go us."
That 40-yard run by Chase Brown was what the Bengals' offense has been missing the last few years. Since 2019, that is only the seventh RB carry of 40+ yards by a Bengals running back. (via ESPN Research)
Good lord the Bengals demolished Calvin Austin on the first pass attempt. He's down after the play. Akeem Davis-Gaither drilled him early and is flagged for DPI.
Burrow tried to draw the Steelers offside on 4th-and-1, instead he got his own guard. Alex Cappa's false start brings out the Bengals punt team.

The Cincinnati Bengals took one on the chin coming out of the bye with the news that starting defensive lineman Sheldon Rankins wouldn’t be able to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13.
And now an even worse injury update has surfaced before kickoff — according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, linebacker Logan Wilson is unlikely to play, too.
Wilson popped up with a knee injury this week and his absence would mean a heavier workload for Joe Bachie (if he can play) and potentially undrafted free agent Maema Njongmeta next to Germaine Pratt and Akeem Davis-Gaither
The Cincinnati Bengals made two big starting lineup changes before kickoff in Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Along the offensive line, the Bengals benched Cordell Volson and instead had Cody Ford in the lineup at left guard. Ford played left tackle in recent weeks due to injury, but is a more natural fit at guard.
The idea in the trenches, at least, is to fix some of the issues that have plagued the line while allowing pressure up the middle.
And in the defensive secondary, Jordan Battle was running as the starter over Vonn Bell. This had been more of a rotation as the season continued, but Battle is now fully taking over
The Cincinnati Bengals likely need to win out the rest of the way to keep slim playoff hopes alive—and that starts with overcoming the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13.
But nothing has ever been simple for the Bengals this year. Joe Burrow is an MVP candidate and might be the favorite if his team wasn’t 4-7 — he’s thrown for 3,028 yards and 27 scores. Ja’Marr Chase leads the NFL in yards receiving (1,056), yards after the catch (481) and touchdowns (12). Trey Hendrickson leads the NFL with 11.5 sacks
