The #Browns quietly removed a clause from Deshaun Watson's contract this offseason that would have protected him in the event of a future suspension, according to @JayGlazer on FOX. Per the report, if Watson is suspended again, Cleveland could reclaim his guaranteed money. pic.x.com/z6dd0obbem

RT: Injury Update | David Bell has a hip injury and is ruled out.
After a dreadful opening game, the Cleveland Browns came out hot in Week 2 with a 16-play, 89-yard touchdown drive on their first offensive possession against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Deshaun Watson rushed for a one-yard gain on a designed quarterback run to cap off an impressive start for Cleveland.
Running back D’Onta Foreman was the featured back early, rushing five times for 17 yards, including an eight-yard run for his longest. Five different receivers caught a pass on the first drive, and Amari Cooper was not one of them. Elijah Moore and Jerry Jeudy each caught two passes, while David Bell and Jordan Akins also had big gains on catches
The Cleveland Browns invested heavily on special teams with kicker Dustin Hopkins and punter Corey Bojorquez, and they are a massive reason they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Just escaping an ugly game on the road, the Browns have moved to 1-1 on the season after their 18-13 win against Jacksonville. It was not clean, it was not perfect, but it was good enough for today. The Browns found some rhythm on the ground with their run game, and quarterback Deshaun Watson rebounded in a positive direction.
Watson finished 22-of-26 passing but endured multiple dropped passes from his intended targets. Rushing for over 100 yards between Jerome Ford and D’Onta Foreman on 21 touches, the offense took a definite step in the right direction. The Browns will continue to get healthier upfront with Jack Conklin and Jedrick Wills both returning to practice as well. But for now, this was a tough win for the Browns
Cleveland Browns ten-year veteran linebacker Jordan Hicks has recorded his first sack in the brown and orange against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After a tremendous first half from the defense, Cleveland came out on fire in their first drive of the third quarter. Following Jeremiah Owusu-Koromoah’s big tackle for loss, Hicks made his highlight debut for the Browns with a huge sack that soon ended the Jaguars drive.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Alex Wright came through when the team needed it most, securing a sack and safety with less than two minutes left in the game in their win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After a fantastic punt by punter Corey Bojorquez that went out of bounds at the one-yard line, the defense immediately went to work. Wright made the sack on Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence on the first play of the drive. Lawrence was quickly surrounded by multiple Browns defenders and had nowhere to go when Alex Wright took him down in the end zone
Cleveland Browns backup running back Pierre Strong Jr. left the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a hamstring injury. Strong played well for the Browns against the Jaguars. The running back played a few roles for the Browns including kick returner.
Strong has one carry for the Browns for -5 yards. The play was blown up behind the line of scrimmage and Strong was tackled as soon as he got the handoff. Strong caught one pass for ten yards. Strong looked decisive and strong when he returned a kickoff for 25 yards
