Jonathan Jones believes the defensive pass interference penalty called on him in overtime was the play of the game.
There were 20 yards enforced on the play, and the Seattle Seahawks rode that wave of momentum to a game-winning drive against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
And Jones isn’t happy about it.
The veteran cornerback told reporters that even Tyler Lockett, the Seahawks’ receiver Jones was covering at the time, told him that it “wasn’t a penalty.”
“Straight up, that’s what he told me. It sucks because I feel like that was the play of the game,” Jones said, via the Boston Herald’s Zack Cox

More unfortunate injury news for the Seattle Seahawks. During halftime of their Week 2 game against the New England Patriots, we received word that linebacker Jerome Baker is QUESIONABLE to return with a hamstring injury.
Baker has been dealing with a hamstring issue throughout training camp and the preseason.

Baker has played well in the first half against the Patriots. He has recorded four total tackles, as well as a pass defense in the end zone against New England running back Rhamondre Stevenson
Well, there you have it, folks. The Seattle Seahawks will have to take on the New England Patriots without the help of stud running back Kenneth Walker III carrying the load. We knew this was likely the case when the team elevated running back George Holani from the practice squad earlier this weekend.

Kayshon Boutte is inactive today, along with Curtis Jacobs, Sidy Sow, Demontrey Jacobs and Joe Milton (3rd QB). That means Javon Baker is up, as is recently acquired OL Zach Thomas . Kenneth Walker will not play for the Seahawks.
Kyle Dugger on the long TD to Metcalf, "We was in Max blitz coverage. And, you know, just a bad read by myself, and they caught us in a call that was kind of problematic." Dugger said he made the check to that call, saying you're expecting the ball will come out quicker.
Looks like Zach Thomas is readying to play LT for Lowe, who is still getting looked at.
