The hits keep coming.
I wouldn't think about subjecting Drake Maye to this, if I were the Patriots. In fact, this would make me think about going and getting a veteran backup, just to cover myself in case Brissett gets hurt.
@AlbertBreer: Jacoby Brissett's taking a beating, again.

#Patriots QB Jacoby Brissett arrives at MetLife Stadium ahead of tonight's game against the #Jets. pic.x.com/er9ywyhw69
#Patriots DE Keion White has quietly had an impressive start to the season, and everyone will know his name after tonight: o Week 1 vs CIN: 4 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 3 QB hits, 2 TFLs. o Week 2 vs SEA: 7 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2 QB hits, 1 TFL. White put in a lot of work during the offseason, and it's already paying off early in the season. A rising star in this league.
#Patriots S Jabrill Peppers (ankle) is questionable to return.

Is this unnecessary roughness on Jahlani Tavai?
@NFL_DovKleiman: Joey Slye just hit a 65-yard field goal in warmups.

Thus far, Caedan Wallace, Alex Austin, Anfernee Jennings, Keion White and Jabril Peppers have been hurt. And I might have missed another one or two. Been that kind of night
RT: Christian Gonzalez has been on Garrett Wilson for 17 of his 19 routes (89.5%) so far tonight, via @NextGenStats. Has followed him to both sides of the formation and the slot. 4 targets, 2 catches, 15 yards.
#Patriots C David Andrews (hip), who was listed as questionable, is active tonight. Went through a pregame workout and looked fine.
Three holding calls in a row on the Pats offensive line: David Andrews, then 2x for Caedan Wallace. The first was offset, the second counted, and third was declined because Jacoby Brissett was sacked. Nasty.
RT: Patriots injury update: OL Michael Jordan (knee) is questionable to return. pic.x.com/xzt6exbupa
Hawkins lucky he didn't called for a head shot on Williams. Basically the same play they flagged the Jets for against Tyquan Thornton.
Marco Wilson a healthy scratch. All six WRs are active: Polk, Douglas, Thornton, Baker, Boutte, and Osborn. Don't overcompensate...
@Patriots: Patriots inactives. https://t.co/3zs4UgORh0

There are numerous player prop bets on Rhamondre Stevenson for the 8:15 PM ET game Thursday, which airs live on Amazon Prime Video. Stevenson’s New England Patriots (1-1) and the New York Jets (1-1) square off in a Week 3 matchup between AFC East foes at MetLife Stadium.

The New England Patriots announced they are elevating veteran linebacker Joe Giles-Harris from the practice squad to the 53-man roster for Thursday’s game against the New York Jets.
Giles-Harris had a strong training camp and preseason, but he ultimately failed to make the final roster. However, the Patriots wasted little time signing him to their practice squad with Ja’Whaun Bentley out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
Raekwon McMillan is expected to take on more responsibilities for the Patriots, but Giles-Harris can aid in those efforts by offering them a solid depth option for the team against a loaded Jets offense
Before Antonio Gibson takes the field Thursday, there will be player prop betting options available for the 8:15 PM ET kickoff, live on Amazon Prime Video. Gibson and the New England Patriots (1-1) are set for an AFC East matchup in Week 3 against the New York Jets (1-1) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Will McDonald got full credit for that sack. That's 2.5 tonight after 3.0 last week. He has 5.5 sacks on the season. Just an absurd start. #Jets
Jets officially placed DE Jermaine Johnson, who tore his Achilles on Sunday at Tennessee, on season-ending IR.
Robert Saleh says #Jets RT Morgan Moses will get an evaluation of his knee injury tomorrow. I saw Moses briefly just now and he indicated the injury is not believed to be a severe one. Testing will tell the full story.
The sexy pick was a receiver or tight end in the first round. The right pick was Olu Fashanu. This is why. You can never predict injuries, but you needed the insurance policy. #Jets
An important one tonight for the #Jets
@MikeGarafolo: #Jets LB C.J. Mosley (toe) is inactive tonight. Step on up, Jamien Sherwood.
Something in always taken aback by: Sauce Gardner signing for everyone who wants his autograph at this #Jets walk. Been doing it since his rookie year. Doesn't matter how big he gets -- always signing. Just a really good dude. pic.x.com/weleticjii
The #Jets have tight ends .. Tyler Conklin: 3 catches, 62 yards Jeremy Ruckert: 2 catches, 15 yards Also have Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams and Allen Lazard.
#Jets S Chuck Clark tonight - 6 tackles - 1 sack - FF - FR
The #Jets offense looking like this with Garrett Wilson pretty much being a non-factor should strike fear in opposing defenses.
Breece Hall gets the touchdown! You guys have until the end of the game to Like/RT and comment.
@NFL_DovKleiman: If Breece Hall scores a Touchdown against the #Lions, I'll give $100 to someone who likes/RTs and comments.

This was a wild front from the #Jets on the third down. They had Will McDonald rushing from the DT spot. I'll be honest: No idea how an IOL is supposed to handle his speed. Could be a huge mismatch. Also seeing a lot of Takk McKinley outside in these situations. #Jets: 14 #Patriots: 3
RT: Will McDonald so far tonight: 1.5 sacks, 3 QB hits. Haason Reddick so far tonight: Lost $791,666.
Quinnen Williams, Micheal Clemons & Will McDonald all in on that third-down sack. Officially they're splitting it between Clemons & McDonald. That's 3.5 sacks for McDonald this season. He had 3 all of last season. It's also still the first quarter of Week 3.
Braelon Allen would likely start on 20 other teams as their bellcow. Among most encouraging developments of this early season, though, is the team's creativity to get both he & Breece Hall on field field at same time. Quincy Williams wins arrivals entirely because he has a dinosaur bag. pic.x.com/rngghdzsn6
Things I didn't expect to see upon tuning into TNF: Solomon Thomas playing fullback for the Jets. Looks like he gets a pancake too. pic.x.com/nehlwqdqsg
Joe Tippmann a one strap kinda guy pic.x.com/jnl8fxghqw
#Jets DL Quinnen Williams hoping for breakout performance against #Patriots pic.x.com/5k3z9otirm
How about this: #Jets TE Tyler Conklin has a career-high 93 receiving yards tonight (five catches). His previous high was 84. Came against the #Bengals when with #Jets in Week 3 of 2022.
#Jets WR Mike Williams is out there for the first play of the game. Robert Saleh said he would be working more this week.
#Jets get called for a holding. Then Tyron Smith beat for the sack by Wise. Second & 26 for the #NYJ.
