As the Cleveland Browns look to get back to .500 on the season in Week 4, they have announced their two practice squad elevations against the Las Vegas Raiders. Tight end Geoff Swaim and cornerback Tony Brown II will be joining the active roster in this game.

With David Njoku still out for a third game with a high ankle sprain, this gives the Browns a third tight end on the roster. Jordan Akins will once again get a bulk of the work with Blake Whiteheart and Geoff Swaim filling in on 12 and 13 personnel looks

Cleveland Browns starting linebacker Jordan Hicks exited the game against the Raiders with an elbow injury. Hicks was injured while attempting a tackle during the first quarter. Hicks was slow to get up and immediately went to the medical tent for examination. Hicks went to the locker room shortly after. He is questionable to return. 

Browns backup linebackers Devin Bush and Winston Reid have replaced Hicks in the game. Bush is a longtime veteran who will help shoulder the load for the Browns’ defense. Reid is an undrafted free agent and a special teams ace

The Cleveland Browns are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in their short road trip out west. However, rookie wide receiver Jamari Thrash cannot sniff any playing time. Both teams sitting at 1-2 on the season, they will want to prove the season is early and there is still plenty of ballgame left to be played.

For the Browns, however, they will have to do it without two starting offensive tackles in Jedrick Wills Jr. and Jack Conklin. They are both inactive after being ruled out earlier in the week. Dropping another winnable game where they beat themselves, the Cleveland Browns have dropped to 1-3 on the season after a disappointing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

A missed extra point was the difference in this game from Dustin Hopkins as the Browns were forced to go for it on 4th down in range for what could have been a game-tying field goal. There were more dropped passes, big plays called back, and a late arrival from the defense for the second straight week in this loss.
