Texans RB Joe Mixon, listed as questionable for today due to a sprained ankle, is out today vs. the Jaguars. Another week of Texans RB Cam Akers leading the way.
#Texans RB Joe Mixon, who returned to practice on Friday and is listed as questionable, is considered a game-time decision, source said. Mixon (ankle) has worked hard to be back and even though it seems to be an uphill climb to play, he hasn't given up trying. He'll test it out.

Dare Ogunbowale, who's on roster because he's a great special teams player, is the fifth RB behind Mixon, Pierce, Akers and Taylor. He made two great plays today to help the Texans.
Being in Houston today, I don't know where this offense would be without C.J. Stroud's ability to move within the pocket. Under pressure and forced to move off his spot all afternoon and still found a way. At the same time, that's got to change for this #texans team to be a real contender.
After the punt, Texans would have started at the Jags 28. Steven Sims, whose muffed punt gave the Jags a 2-yard TD drive, called for usportsmanlike conduct. Now they're at their 14. I'd cut Sims tomorrow.
Laremy Tunsil is questionable with an ankle injury. Rookie Blake Fisher, who replaced Tunsil in the offseason, camp and preseason, has replaced him again. He's a second-round pick from Notre Dame.

LG Kenyon Green is having a horrible. Three penalties in the first half and getting destroyed on the pass rush.
RT: Texans Injury Update: #78 T Laremy Tunsil is questionable with an ankle injury.
Houston Texans head coach and defensive play-caller DeMeco Ryans had brought the heat on third down all afternoon against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Safety Eric Murray rewarded him with his first sack of the season to get the defense off the field.
Murray came virtually untouched off the left side as Houston had more pass rushers than Jacksonville blockers, dropping Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence for a 14-yard loss.

The Houston Texans offense will have its No. 1 wide receiver.
Nico Collins, who leads the league in receiving yards, will play Sunday, despite popping up on the injury report Thursday with a hamstring injury. Collins told media he would be playing after logging a full practice on Friday.

Jacksonville head coach Doug Pederson shared his belief that star defensive end Josh Hines-Allen entered the NFL’s concussion protocol amid the Jaguars’ 24-20 loss to Texans in Houston on Sunday.
Hines-Allen briefly exited the contest with over five minutes left in the third quarter, after a six-yard rush by Texans running back J.J. Taylor. He re-entered the game two plays later for one rep but was ultimately pulled from action during Houston’s next drive.
“I’ll talk to Ferg (Jaguars vice president of player health and performance Jeff Ferguson), see what he says. But, I think so, yes,” Pederson said post-game, asked if Hines-Allen had entered concussion protocol
