Early-Down Leader Offers Sneaky Mid-Round Value in Washington
Listed as the top running back on Washington's depth chart, Jacory Croskey-Merritt is poised to lead a committee backfield ahead of Rachaad White. While not projected as a true workhorse, our models slate him for 157 carries, 739 rushing yards, and seven touchdowns. He will serve as the primary early-down option alongside dual-threat quarterback Jayden Daniels, though a limited pass-catching role caps his ceiling in PPR formats.
His ADP has seen notable movement, climbing from 130 in early May to a peak around 107 before settling back to 119. At this price, our projections view him as an excellent value. While rostered in 70% of leagues, fantasy managers are taking a wait-and-see approach with only 11% starting him initially.
Building on a 2025 campaign where he averaged 4.6 yards per carry, Croskey-Merritt has proven his efficiency. If he secures the goal-line role, he should easily exceed his current draft-day cost, making him an ideal bench target for depth.
