Optimism High for a Year-Three Breakout After Positive Offseason Updates
Worthy is entering his third NFL season with plenty of optimism after fully rehabbing a shoulder injury that hampered his performance last year. Reports from early practice sessions indicate the young receiver has shown significant improvement and has been a standout at camp. Operating as a starting outside receiver alongside Rashee Rice and tight end Travis Kelce, Worthy remains a highly intriguing weapon in Kansas City.
Our models anticipate a bounce-back year for Worthy, projecting 55 receptions on 89 targets for 716 receiving yards and four touchdowns, alongside limited rushing work. This expected volume is a step up from his quieter 2025 campaign, where he was held to just 591 receiving yards and a single touchdown. If he maintains his momentum and healthy shoulder, he can easily surpass these marks.
