The NCAA tournaments stole the headlines most of the weekend, but there were plenty of strong individual performances on NBA courts that need to be discussed.

Let’s take a look at some of the best performances from waiver wire options, who could maybe help you out in the late stages of the fantasy season.

Top Performers

Let’s begin by talking about Portland Trail Blazers’ Scoot Henderson, who is owned in 64% of leagues. Over two games this past weekend, Henderson averaged 23 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals per game.

It was Henderson’s first times over 20 points since early February, and to have back-to-back 20-point showings is a great sign for the rookie. He’s starting and playing over 30 minutes most nights now, and he’s producing plenty to be a fantasy asset in all formats.

Toronto Raptors’ Ochai Agbaji, rostered in just 6% of leagues, averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block across two games.

Agbaji has gotten enough playing time of late to be a fantasy asset, but hadn’t produced to the level he did over the weekend. He has scored in double figures in three straight games, and because he’s adding rebounds and other stats to his points, he’s a solid streaming option in deeper leagues and dynasties for the time being.

Toronto’s Kelly Olynyk, rostered in 75% of leagues, averaged 15 points, 7.5 assists, 6 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks over the weekend.

Olynyk has started 10 straight games for the Raptors, and is averaging 28.9 minutes per game over that span. He’s averaging 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks per game, which is enough to be a good fantasy asset in all leagues. Scoop him up for the stretch run if he’s available.

Boston Celtics’ Payton Pritchard, owned in 51% of leagues, had 17.5 points, 8.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 0.5 steals over two games this weekend.

Pritchard has enjoyed an expanded role over the past couple weeks with several teammates being inactive. As long as a key rotation member or two are out, Pritchard is likely going to keep logging heavy minutes and being a solid fantasy asset. Watch the team’s injury report and stream Pritchard when it makes sense - he’s doing enough on a nightly basis to be streamed in any league type.

Minnesota Timberwolves’ Kyle Anderson, owned in 57% of leagues, averaged 10 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2.5 steals and 0.5 blocks across two games this weekend.

The T-Wolves are still without Karl-Anthony Towns, which makes Anderson a little more valuable as a fantasy asset. He’s scored in double figures in four straight games now, and is doing enough else on the court to be a streaming option in any kind of league. Watch him closely, because if he cools off offensively, he’s probably only a good fantasy asset in deeper leagues.

Portland rookie Kris Murray, owned in 15% of leagues, averaged 16 points, 7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2 steals and 0.5 blocks in two games.

Murray has now scored in double figures in four straight games. He’s also added enough other numbers and played consistently enough for several games to make him a decent fantasy option in deeper leagues and dynasties.

Duop Reath, another Portland rookie, is rostered in 16% of leagues and averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.5 steals and 1 block across the team’s two games.

Reath’s playing time has fluctuated all season, but he played 26 minutes in both of the games this weekend. There were a couple points that he was a solid streaming option in fantasy leagues this season, and he might be at the start of another one of those times now. He’s just a streaming option in deeper leagues and dynasties for the time being though.

Detroit Pistons’ James Wiseman, rostered in 40% of leagues, averaged 19.5 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists in two games over the weekend.

His playing time has been up and down as of late, but with the likes of Isaiah Stewart and Ausar Thompson out for the season now, Wiseman should get some more minutes from now until the end of the season. He was touted as a super talented prospect, but just hasn’t figured things out in the NBA quite yet - that makes him a good deep league option and really intriguing option in dynasty leagues.

Los Angeles Lakers’ Spencer Dinwiddie, rostered in 54% of leagues, averaged 18.5 points, 3.5 assists, 1 rebound, 1.5 blocks and 0.5 steals in two games this weekend.

Dinwiddie was expected to fill a big role for the Lakers when he signed with the team in mid-February, but he’s averaging just 6.2 points, 2.8 assists, 1.1 rebounds and 0.4 steals and blocks across his first 17 games with the team (including the two strong showings from the weekend). If these games were a sign of him finally settling in, Dinwiddie’s own percentage could skyrocket with another big game or two. Keep a close eye on him if you aren’t ready to add him to your fantasy team quite yet.

Portland’s Jabari Walker, rostered in 9% of leagues, averaged 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1 steal across two games this weekend.

Walker took advantage of several teammates being out and proved he could be a solid streaming option in deeper leagues and dynasties if teammates remain out for upcoming games. Watch the team’s injury report and stream Walker accordingly.

Boston’s Sam Hauser, rostered in 26% of leagues, also had a strong weekend with some teammates out of action. He averaged 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1 assist over the team’s two games, making 11 combined 3-pointers along the way.

Hauser would be another streaming option in deeper leagues if a couple rotation players are out for a future game. He doesn’t usually fill up the stat sheet really well aside from his scoring, but he’s a decent fantasy asset on his scoring alone.

Toronto’s Gary Trent Jr., owned in 71% of leagues, only played in one game over the weekend, but finished with 31 points, four rebounds, three assists and two assists in 34 minutes played.

Trent did not dress in the team’s other weekend game, but has now scored in double figures in eight straight games. While he doesn’t fill the stat sheet really well, his 22.6 points per game over that eight-game stretch makes him a solid streaming option when he’s active, at least for the time being.

New York Knicks’ Miles McBride, rostered in 26% of leagues, played all 48 minutes in the team’s win on Saturday, tallying 26 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal.

New York was missing several players for the game, which forced McBride to log a ton of minutes. He’s played over 40 minutes in three straight games, averaging 22 points, 2.7 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and 0.3 blocks per game in that span. That’s enough production (mostly on the scoring alone) to consider him a streaming option in all league formats. Watch the team’s injury report and stream him if several big-name players remain out of action.
