The NBA regular season is winding down quickly, so that means fantasy basketball matchups are becoming more and more important.

At the start of a new fantasy basketball week, let's check out the top fantasy basketball waiver pickups. We'll use the FantasySP list to get us rolling.

Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including waiver pickups, projections, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant. Use our fantasy basketball trade analyzer and the Trade Value Chart to break down trade scenarios.

Matas Buzelis Fantasy Outlook

Buzelis was added in 8.65% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 40.83%. He's coming off a 28-point outing, so it's easy to see why he's on the rise.

Over the past four games, Buzelis has 81 points, 22 rebounds, 10 assists, three blocks and two steals. He's mostly just scoring for his fantasy value, but there are enough other numbers there to make him a pretty solid all-around fantasy asset.

I think he's a better deep-league option at this point, but also wouldn't be opposed to adding him in a standard league if there were IR spots (meaning more players are rostered than normal). Ride the hot streak with the rookie as long as you can, but also don't be afraid to move on from him in standard leagues if he isn't consistently producing.

Jared Butler Fantasy Outlook

Butler is owned in 44.97% of leagues after a 5.31% increase. He's scored in double figures in four straight games for Philadelphia.

In those four games, Butler has racked up 67 points, 22 assists, 10 rebounds and six steals. There's enough fantasy production there to roster and utilize Butler in a bunch of deeper leagues.

I think there's better options available to you standard league fantasy owners out there. He's doing enough to own and play him in most other fantasy setups though.

Take advantage of things while he's scoring consistently instead of waiting any longer.

Adem Bona Fantasy Outlook

Bona is up 4.69% and is now owned in 43.2% of leagues overall. He's racked up 30 points over his past two games combined.

Bona also has 18 rebounds, eight blocks, two steals and one assist in those two games - he's started both contests, playing 57 minutes.

There's some deep-league value with Bona as well, but I think he'd need to continue it for another week-plus in order to get run in standard leagues. He'd also become droppable if his production falls off in any game, which means he's a better deep-league asset.

Jamal Shead Fantasy Outlook

Shead is rostered in 23.08% of leagues after a 4.69% increase. He's been a steady contributor over the second half of the month.

Since March 14, which spans nine games, Shead has started four times and accumulated 223 minutes. He also has 101 points, 51 assists, 24 rebounds, 16 steals and three blocks in those nine games.

I like that Shead can impact his fantasy score outside of points, and it makes him a pretty solid deep-league option right now. I'm a bit surprised his own percentage isn't a touch higher than what it is now, because I think he's not too far behind the likes of Buzelis, Butler and Bona.

I'd be more than happy to give Shead one of my roster spots in a bit deeper league, at least for the next couple games. If he keeps producing, his own percentage should keep rising, and there's no reason to expect his production to fall off on a Toronto team just going through the motions at this point.

Brandin Podziemski Fantasy Outlook

Podziemski was added in 3.81% of leagues, bringing his total to 72.78%. He's coming off a 27-point showing in his last contest.

He has been a double-digit scorer in each of the team's past six games (he's started all those games). Across 188 minutes in that timeframe, Podz has 102 points, 33 rebounds, 17 assists and seven steals.

It's not elite fantasy production, but there's enough there to at least roster him in deeper leagues and some standard leagues. Coming off the 27-point outing, I'd be more inclined to add and utilize Podz in a standard league too.

He's a bit of a bigger fantasy name and might be a touch overvalued because of that, but his recent production is what is driving my reasoning for wanting to add Podz. Do it now, or you might risk losing out on him if he turns in another big game soon.

Toumani Camara Fantasy Outlook

Camara is owned in 86.39% of leagues after a 3.63% increase. He's been a pretty steady contributor of late.

He scored just six points on March 27, but responded with a 16-point showing on March 30. Camara has scored in double figures in seven of the past eight games overall.

In that span, Camara has 120 points, 41 rebounds, 23 assists, 14 steals and five blocks. Just looking at those numbers, you can see why he's the most rostered player we've discussed today.

He's still not the safest fantasy option, but his well-rounded game, and fairly consistent scoring outings, makes Camara a pretty good standard league asset. I'd be happy to add and utilize Camara if I had a player go down with an injury of late, or simply had a roster spot to play with.

Bruce Brown Fantasy Outlook

Brown was added in 3.37% of leagues and is up to 17.16% owned. He had been in a pretty good scoring groove of late, but is coming off a three-point showing.

Of course, Brown had 12 rebounds, three blocks, two assists and one steal in that three-point scoring game, so he was still a very good fantasy asset.

In the four games before that, Brown accumulated 59 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and two blocks. He's got some real deep-league value, and I am quite surprised he isn't rostered in more leagues.

At the part of the season where many bigger fantasy players are out with injuries, Brown should have a higher own percentage. Scoop him up and take advantage of his pretty well-rounded fantasy value down the stretch as you compete for fantasy glory.
