Fantasy Football Injury Report Week 6: Will Saquon Barkley finally play? Updates on Tee Higgins, Jeff Wilson Jr, Khalil Herbert and More

Week 6 is almost here and there are a ton of questions surrounding a bunch of big-named players who are dealing with injuries. Here are all the latest updates on the fantasy players who may or may not be active this week.

Week 3 Injury Report

Quarterbacks

Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns (Shoulder)

Despite being medically cleared publicly by his coaches, Watson will miss another game this week with his bruised rotator cuff. PJ Walker will get the start in his place.

Daniel Jones, New York Giants (Concussion)

Jones has been ruled out for Sunday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills. Tyrod Taylor will serve as the Giants' starter.

Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts (Shoulder)

The Colts have placed Richardson on injured reserve and he will miss at least the next four weeks and likely more. Gardner Minshew will be the Colts' starter for the next 4-8 weeks.

Running Backs

Saquon Barkley, New York Giants (Ankle)

Barkley is once again listed as questionable due to a high-ankle sprain after a full week of limited practices. He will most likely be a game-time decision again this week. Being that he plays on Sunday Night Football, you may have to go with another option if we don't get positive reports early in the day on Sunday.

Khalil Herbert, Chicago Bears (Ankle)

The Bears have placed Herbert on injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain. The team has also ruled out Roschon Johnson and Travis Homer. This leaves D'Onta Foreman as the last man standing this week in the Bears' backfield. He should get all the work that he can handle.

Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions (Hamstring)

Gibbs has once again been ruled out. Whether Gibbs plays or not on any given week, David Montgomery is going to see the bulk of the carries. He's the only back you want to be starting in Detroit this week.

Jeff Wilson Jr, Miami Dolphins (Finger/Ribs)

There was some optimism that Wilson would be activated off of injured reserve this week, however, he is now listed as doubtful and looks at least one more week away from game action.

Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys (Shoulder)

Pollard was a full participant on Friday and now looks good to go for Week 6. He does not appear to be in any danger of sitting this one out.

Keontay Ingram, Arizona Cardinals (Neck)

Ingram returned to a full practice this week and now has been removed from the injury report. It looks like he will be ready to go on Sunday. This certainly makes this week's waiver wire darling Emari Demercado a much more risky play.

Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens (Shoulder)

Mitchell looks to be on the right side of questionable to make his NFL debut this week after starting the year off on injured reserve.

Miles Sanders, Carolina Panthers (Shoulder)

Sanders has been ruled out of the Panthers' Week 6 matchup with the Dolphins. This is probably the best-case scenario for fantasy owners as Sanders has served little purpose this season other than hurting Chuba Hubbard's fantasy value which is already mediocre on its own.

Wide Receivers

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals (Ribs)

Higgins has been ruled as a game-time decision. He hasn't been great this year to begin with and has a history of being active in these situations and barely playing. Starting him this week is probably a risk not worth taking.

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Hamstring)

After returning to practice late in the week, Evans is said to be a "full-go" for Week 6.

Zay Jones, Jacksonville Jaguars (Knee)

Jones was knocked out of last week's game with a knee injury and has now been ruled out for Week 6. This gives a bit more value to Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk this week.

Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals (Illness)

Hollywood is dealing with an illness and is listed as questionable for Week 6. After getting in two practices to finish out the week we'd expect him to be out there on Sunday.

Tank Dell, Houston Texans (Concussion)

Dell is listed as questionable this week, but it's now rare for a player who suffers a concussion to play the following week. We'd be surprised if he was active on Sunday.

Juju Smith-Schuster, New England Patriots (Concussion)

Juju has been ruled out for Week 6 as has teammate Demario Douglas. This leaves DeVante Parker and Kendrick Bourne in expanded roles. However, they are still bad options in that offense with McCorkle Jones throwing them the ball.

Treylon Burks, Tennessee Titans (Knee)

Burks did not travel with the team to London and will not play this week.

Tight Ends

Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions (Calf)

LaPorta was a late-week addition to an injury report with a calf injury which is never good. However, he did go through the team's walkthrough on Friday and says he expects to play. This is a situation to monitor closely.

Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints (Calf)

Johnson has once again been ruled out and will not play in Week 6.

Darren Waller, New York Giants (Groin)

Waller is listed as questionable but says he expects to be out there this week. It looks more likely than not that he'll be able to go.

Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills (Concussion)

Kincaid is listed as questionable and is yet to clear the concussion protocol. He has a shot to play, but if you have him we'd suggest coming up with a backup plan quickly. Dawson Knox is also dealing with a wrist injury of his own, nevertheless, he looks like he'll be playing and potentially have an expanded role.

David Njoku, Cleveland Browns (Burns)

Njoku is listed as questionable with facial burns. However, he was able to start Week 4 and then had his bye week so we'd expect him to play. Still, there is a chance he does sit out because those burns were brutal.
