Week 7 Fantasy Football Streaming Options: Jordan Love, Zach Evans, Rashee Rice, and More!
Everyone has at least one hole in their fantasy football roster due to injuries (maybe you drafted Justin Jefferson), underperformance (Najee Harris, anyone?), or just bad drafting (not you, of course). However, holes can be filled and there are almost always good streaming options. It’s just a matter of finding them.
With six teams on byes this week, streaming is going to be even more important this week! I'll be here every week trying to unearth the best streaming options that you can likely find on waivers and plug into your starting lineup for that week. There are some good ones out there for Week 7, so let's dig in!

Quarterback
Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
With some of the top-10 options either hurt of injured this week, Love is set up nicely to finish as a QB1 for Week 7. While he hasn't hit 260 passing yards in a game all year, Love has been able to add a few fantasy points per game with his legs and has a fantastic matchup against the Broncos. It's worth noting he has five interceptions in his past two games, but Love had his own bye week to get things right and should be able to put up points against the most fantasy-friendly defense in the entire league.
Sam Howell, Washington Commanders
Outside of a Week 3 stinker, Howell has been really good this season and has led the Commanders to putting up 20 or more points in five of their six games. He'll face a Giants defense that was able to limit Josh Allen last week, but Howell has thrown for five total touchdowns in his last two games so he's on a roll coming into Week 7. While I still don't fully trust Howell, there aren't many better streaming options this week and Howell falls firmly in the top-15 quarterback options.
Running Back
Zach Evans, Los Angeles Rams
Evans is a tad risky as the Rams have added Myles Gaskin, Royce Freeman, and Darrell Henderson to their roster and/or practice squad to make up for the loss of both Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers. That said, it looks like Evans will be given first crack at being the Rams' lead back this week against the Steelers. While Evans isn't a supremely talented player, his potential opportunity for a sizeable workload this week should put him into the flex conversation.
Jordan Mason, San Francisco 49ers
If Christian McCaffrey sits this week, it looks like the bulk of the 49ers' rushing attempts will belong to Mason. While Elijah Mitchell looked to be next in line (and might still be if we believe he was being eased back into action after returning from injury last week), it was Mason who mainly stepped in when CMC went down last week. Mason averaged over five yards per carry against a tough Browns defense and should have an easier go against a bad Vikings defense. While there's some risk here, Mason sets up as a flex play with upside if CMC can't go.
Wide Receiver
Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs
While most went big on Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, it looks like Rashee Rice was the guy to grab on the Chiefs. Though the Chiefs also just traded for Mecole Hardman, the rookie has emerged as potentially the best non-Travis Kelce option for Patrick Mahomes. He's seeing somewhere around 4-5 targets per game and should see increased usage with Justin Watson injured. Coming off his best yardage output of the season last week, Rice is a solid flex play against the Chargers this week.
Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
I had Downs here last week and he rewarded my confidence in him, so I'm going back to the well again this week. The rookie has developed a rapport with Gardner Minshew and is seeing close to a fifth of the Colts' passes. Averaging seven targets over his last two games (with a 12 target game earlier this year), Downs scored his first touchdown of his career last week and is set up nicely as a Week 7 flex play against the Browns.
Tight End
Jonnu Smith, Atlanta Falcons
Smith is currently TE10 on the year despite not getting the attention that should go along with that. He's seen no less than five targets in his last five games and hasn't caught less then four balls or put up less than 36 yards in any of those games. While he just found the end zone for the first time all season last week, Smith has been extremely reliable and has essentially been the Falcons' third receiver this year. With the Bucs struggling to contain opposing tight ends, Smith should again be a solid play this week.
Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
Musgrave comes with some risk (what streaming option doesn't?) as evidenced by his one catch for one yard on one target performance in Week 4, but he followed that with six catches for 34 yards on seven targets in Week 5. While he's yet to find the end zone this season, that provides some upside for the rookie as he comes out of the Packers' bye week and faces the aforementioned awful Broncos defense. With a general lack of good options at tight end, Musgrave is firmly in the top-10 conversation for Week 7.
Alright, my friends. That’ll do it for this week.
I wish you all the best of luck in Week 7, and I’ll see you back here next week to see if we can find some hidden gems for Week 8!
