Week 10 QB and TE Waiver Adds: Joshua Dobbs, Cade Otton, Luke Musgrave, and More!
Happy Monday! We're done with more than half of the fantasy football regular season, and the fantasy playoffs are going to be here before we know it. Unless you're sitting at the bottom of your league, you still have a chance to get back in the game -- or hopefully expand your lead in the standings. And a big part of making up some ground is making sure you make the right waiver moves.
With running backs and wide receivers coming in a separate article, let's take a look at the quarterbacks and tight ends you should be scooping off the waiver wire for Week 10.

Quarterback
(ownership percentages are based on ESPN leagues)
Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings (16.3 percent)
The dream is still alive! After losing his job in Arizona, Dobbs suited up for his third team this season and delivered in a big way on Sunday. He was unexpectedly thrown into action and led the Vikings to a comeback win while finishing at QB4 for the week. Dobbs may not be the best real-life quarterback, but he has a skillset that translates well to fantasy. And he could get Justin Jefferson back soon -- which honestly could thrust him into QB1 territory. I'm honestly probably a little too high on Dobbs, but go grab him if someone in your league dropped him.
Taylor Heinicke, Atlanta Falcons (4.7 percent)
Should you pick up Heinicke? Probably not. But we're at the point where there are literally maybe 15-18 good fantasy quarterbacks (if that) so anyone can make this list at this point. While Heinicke's stats on Sunday were boosted by a long touchdown pass to Jonnu Smith, it looks like he'll be under center for the Falcons for now and is worth an add in deeper leagues. He's mostly likely going to be in the QB18-22 range every week, but that's also around where guys like Geno Smith are finishing these days so you can do a lot worse (like one of the 62 rookie quarterbacks who are being thrown out there).
Tommy DeVito, New York Giants (0.0 percent)
With the disclaimer that DeVito is an absolute "break glass in case of emergency" pick up, we're still at a point where there just aren't many good options left on the waiver wire -- and we're done with guys like Mac Jones at this point. DeVito looked good in relief of Daniel Jones on Sunday as he went 15-20 for 175 yards and chipped in four rushes for 17 yards as well. Again, he's not a guy you should be rushing to grab (or start), but he's likely going to be the Giants' starter for the short-term and has somewhat of a fantasy floor due to his ability to run the ball.
Tight End
(ownership percentages are based on ESPN leagues)
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (39.7 percent)
Hill is above my usual threshold of 25 percent, but he should be rostered in every fantasy league at this point so I'm including him. He's seen at least five targets in three of his last four games and he's carried the ball a combined twenty times over his last two games. That's great usage -- especially for a tight end living in an absolute wasteland in terms of the fantasy landscape. If Hill is available in your league, go grab him now!
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7.8 percent)
I had Otton as a streaming start this week, so I'm very happy he rewarded my confidence in him. Outside of this past Sunday (six catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns), Otton's past three weeks should put him as a solid waiver priority this week. He's seen an average of seven targets per game over the last three weeks and seems to be developing into one of Baker Mayfields' most trusted targets. While it's worth noting the Texans are notably bad against tight ends, Otton is still worth a pickup in most leagues.
Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers (17.2 percent)
I had Musgrave as a drop last week (and I still don't think he's a must-add), but I'll be reactionary and change my tune a bit. While I'm admittedly chasing the touchdown he scored, he's seeing at least three or four receptions per game and has some upside. While I'd prioritize Musgrave a lot less than the two guys above, I think he's worth an add in deeper leagues -- or even in shallower leagues where you had a hole at tight end.
