Conference Championship Games Fantasy Football Recap: Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Saquon Barkley, Xavier Worthy, A.J. Brown and More
Taking a look at the top performers from the two conference championship games.
The Super Bowl matchup is set, with the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles now having two weeks to prepare for the biggest NFL game of the season.
Before we turn our focus to the big game, let’s recap what happened in the conference championship games on Sunday.

NFC Championship
Eagles Dominate Commanders
Philadelphia scored at least 13 points in three different quarters and rolled to a 55-23 win.Â
The Eagles had 459 total yards of offense, committed no turnovers, were sacked twice and only were called for five penalties.
The Commanders had a respectable 350 total yards of offense, but four turnovers doomed the team. Washington was sacked three times and got called for nine penalties.
Eagles Offensive Leaders
Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a monster game, breaking out for the first time since he suffered a concussion late in the regular season. He was 20-of-28 passing for 246 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. Hurts added 16 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries and avoided a fumble.
Running back Saquon Barkley also rushed for three touchdowns. He had 118 yards and the three scores on 15 carries. Barkley added a four-yard catch across two targets.
Will Shipley got some run late, recording 77 rushing yards and a touchdown on four carries. Kenneth Gainwell suffered a concussion, but had eight rushing yards on three carries and 16 receiving yards on two catches and targets before leaving.
Tight end Dallas Goedert had another big game, catching seven of his eight targets for 85 yards. He was also credited with 13 rushing yards on two carries.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown finally got going, posting 96 yards and a touchdown on six grabs and eight targets. DeVonta Smith had 45 yards on four receptions and targets.
Kicker Jake Elliott made all seven of his extra points, but missed his only field goal attempt from 54 yards.
Philly Defensive Leaders
Zack Baun led the Eagles’ defense with 12 combined tackles. He also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
Oren Burks had a sack among his nine tackles, and also recovered a fumble. Reed Blankenship had seven tackles and a fumble recovery. Cooper DeJean had six tackles and two passes defensed.
Nolan Smith had a sack across four tackles. Jordan Davis had a sack among his two tackles and also knocked down a pass.
Quinyon Mitchell intercepted a pass and posted four tackles and two passes defensed in total.Â
Washington Offensive Leaders
Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels had a pretty good showing despite the loss. He was 29-of-48 passing for 255 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Daniels rushed for 48 yards and a score across six carries.
Brian Robinson rushed for 36 yards on 11 carries. Austin Ekeler had 15 rushing yards on eight carries and 17 receiving yards across five catches and seven targets. Ekeler lost a fumble as well.
Tight end Zach Ertz was the top pass catcher, going for 104 yards on 11 grabs and 16 targets. Wideout Terry McLaurin had 51 yards and a score on three catches and seven targets.Â
Dyami Brown had 42 yards on three grabs and five targets, but also lost a fumble. Olamide Zaccheaus had 26 yards on four catches and five targets. Nobody else had over 25 receiving yards.
Kicker Zane Gonzalez made all three of his field goals and didn’t get to attempt an extra point. Gonzalez made field goals from 34, 46 and 42 yards.
Commanders’ Top Defenders
Jeremy Chinn and Bobby Wagner had nine combined tackles each.Â
Frankie Luvu had a sack among his four tackles, while Dorance Armstrong Jr. had a sack among his two tackles.Â
AFC Championship
Chiefs Edge Bills
In another instant classic, the Chiefs edged the Bills 32-29. Kansas City got a field goal with 3:33 to play and held on to advance to the Super Bowl again.
Kansas City had 368 total yards of offense, lost a fumble, were sacked twice and got called for five penalties.
Buffalo had 374 total yards of offense and no turnovers, got sacked twice and committed six penalties.
Chiefs’ Offensive Leaders
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was 18-of-26 passing for 245 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. He added 43 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries to deliver a big fantasy score. Mahomes did lose a fumble.
Running back Kareem Hunt had 64 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. He also caught a six-yard pass on his lone target.
Isiah Pacheco finished with just 12 rushing yards on five carries. He had 12 receiving yards on two grabs and targets.
Wide receiver Xavier Worthy was great, catching six of his seven targets for 85 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 16 more yards on two carries.
JuJu Smith-Schuster had a surprise performance with 60 yards across two catches and three targets. Marquise Brown went for 35 yards on three catches and five targets.
Tight end Travis Kelce was held to 19 yards on two grabs and four targets. Nobody else had over 20 yards or two targets.
Kicker Harrison Butker made all three of his extra points and his only field goal try. He connected on a 35-yard field goal to put the Chiefs ahead.
Chiefs’ Defensive Leaders
Chamarri Conner and Drue Tranquill each had nine total tackles. Nick Bolton had six tackles and a pass defensed.
Mike Danna had a sack among his four tackles. Tershawn Wharton had a sack among his two tackles.
Bills’ Offensive Leaders
Quarterback Josh Allen was 22-of-34 passing for 237 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 39 rushing yards on 11 carries.
Running back James Cook was a good fantasy performer, rushing for 85 yards and scoring twice across 13 carries. He added 49 yards on three catches and targets.
Ty Johnson had 19 rushing yards on six carries and a catch for no yards on his lone target. Ray Davis had four rushing yards on two carries and wasn’t targeted in the passing game.
Mack Hollins was the top pass catcher with 73 yards and a touchdown on three grabs and four targets. Khalil Shakir had 46 yards on six receptions and seven targets. Amari Cooper went for 33 yards across four catches and targets.
No other Buffalo player had over 15 receiving yards. Tight end Dalton Kincaid had four targets, but just two grabs for 13 yards. Keon Coleman had a 12-yard catch across three targets. Curtis Samuel caught a four-yard touchdown for his lone catch across three targets.
Kicker Tyler Bass made a 53-yard field goal and both of his extra point attempts.
Buffalo’s Defensive Leaders
Cole Bishop led the Buffalo defense with 10 total tackles. Matt Milano had a sack among his nine tackles.
Rasul Douglas finished with seven tackles, while Terrel Bernard had six tackles.
Jordan Phillips had a sack among his two tackles. Ed Oliver had four tackles and also recovered a fumble.
