Ward has separated himself has the clear QB1 in this class and is the most valuable asset in this year's draft. The Titans would be crazy to pass up on a true franchise quarterback when Will Levis is currently at the top of their depth chart.
This is a tough call because of all the complications caused by Deshaun Watson's disastrous contract which is only compounded by his Achilles injuries. Nevertheless, at some point, they just have cut their losses and move on.
3. New York Giants - Edge Abdul Carter, Penn State
The Giants have always been known for an elite pass rush when they are at their best. All of their championship teams were built around edge rushers and putting Carter opposite Brian Burns could once again give them an elite pass rush to build their defense around.
4. New England Patriots - WR/CB Travis Hunter, Colorado
Hunter could easily be the best football player in this draft, however, while his multi-position projection makes him so valuable, it also makes him hard to judge as a prospect. Still, he's too good to let slide and the Pats will have a plan for him.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
In a bit of a surprise move, the Jags grab stud running back Ashton Jeanty here to make him the focal point of their offense after former first-round running back Travis Etienne Jr. fell off a cliff in 2024 and Trevor Lawrence has both underwhelmed and struggled to stay healthy.
If there is one thing the Raiders love it's really fast wide receivers. Golden fits the bill perfectly. He'll be an immediate difference-maker and the WR1 in Vegas for a long time.
Dart should not be drafted this high, but the Jets won't let that stop them. We have no confidence in the Jets front office and expect them to mess up yet another first-round QB selection.
The Saints WR room is shaky at best due to inconsistent top wideouts and serious injury concerns to their top guys. Tetairoa is a perfect fit as a true outside X-receiver who brings the size they need at the position.
The Bears did a good job addressing their offensive line in free agency but need to continue building a strong line so that they can protect their young QB.
At some point, the Dolphins have to build an offensive line. The line has been an issue in Miami for almost a decade now and they can't let Tua Tagovailoa take a beating. We've seen how that offense looks without him and it's unreasonably incompetent.
14. Indianapolis Colts - TE Tyler Warren, Penn State
This is both a position need and the best player available. The Colts simply can't just watch Warren slide past 14 here.
Getting after the quarterback has been an issue for the Falcons for a few years now, but they are slowly building a line and Walker could be the centerpiece. The Bengals have to go defense here, and with Sam Hubbard retiring and Trey Hendrickson being actively shopped on the trade block, it's not hard to believe that pass rusher is the top priority in Cincy.
With Carlton Davis out in Tampa and the pass defense already being the Bucs biggest weakness, it makes sense for them to take an elite corner in Round 1.
Egbuka can turn a mediocre WR corps into a strong WR corps and that's exactly what the Broncos want to happen with this pick. He would be the true WR1 that this offense needs.
The Commanders' defense declined later in the year. They need better cornerbacks if their defense is going to play at a potential Super Bowl-caliber level like we expect Jayden Daniels to.
The Bills have a bad group of wideouts and people getting excited over Joshua Palmer act like they've never actually watched Joshua Palmer. However, if they pair Burden with Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman, then all of a sudden it looks like their building a talented young WR corps.
31. Kansas City Chiefs - OL Grey Zabel, North Dakota State
The Chiefs are a tough team to predict, but we have them strengthening back up their offensive line here after losing key pieces in free agency.
32. Philadelphia Eagles - S Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina
Philly lost C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Darius Slay this offseason. They need to replace that playmaking in their secondary and do exactly that here with Emmanwori.
