October 29 Fantasy Hockey Goalie Matchup Rankings: Lukas Dostal, Filip Gustavsson, David Rittich and More
Matchups for each of Tuesday's goalies based on his opponent's shots per game and goals per game.
I’m here looking for the goalies with the best matchups on Tuesday. There are a lot of ways that can be measured, but my process was comparing each team’s rankings in shots per game and goals per game to find the biggest differences.
A team that has a positive differential takes a lot of shots and doesn’t score many goals. These teams theoretically offer the most save opportunities without as much fear of the puck going into the net.
Below are the fantasy goalie rankings for Tuesday based on those criteria. This doesn’t consider the skill of each goalie, it’s simply about the trends of the opponents. I listed every goalie who has played this season for each team; always check starters to be sure you have the right guy in your lineup.
Teams with the same ranking are listed in alphabetical order of their opponents. Stats are from NHL.com.
