November 11 Fantasy Hockey Streamers: Matt Duchene, Owen Power, Morgan Frost and More
Five NHL teams with good matchups on Monday and the players on those teams who are most involved in the action.
It’s time for Monday’s NHL streamers. Streamers are those players who are good enough to excel in the right situation but not daily/weekly fantasy starters because they can be shut down by good defensive teams. You can determine streamers a lot of different ways, but I like using shot and goal opportunities; who has the best chance to put the puck in the net?
Let’s look at five teams with good matchups on Monday and the players on those teams who are most involved in the action. I try not to list injured players, but always check actives/inactives before game time to ensure everyone in your lineup is playing. All stats are from NHL.com.
San Jose Sharks @ Philadelphia Flyers
We’ll start with a game in which we can target both teams; those are always the most fun. The Sharks have allowed the second-most shots per game and the seventh-most goals per game.
While the Flyers have given up just the 22nd-most shots, they are fourth in most goals per game allowed. Goals are better than shots, so we’ll target them today.
