Ryne Stanek Shines in High-Leverage Role for Surging Cardinals

Stanek has been outstanding lately, posting a clean 0.00 ERA and a tiny 0.38 WHIP over his last seven days. He has locked down his role as a primary late-inning setup option for the second-place Cardinals, who are currently 35-28 and riding a four-game winning streak. With fellow reliever Ryan Fernandez sidelined on the injured list with a back issue, Stanek's high-leverage opportunities are highly secure.
