Reds 8, Rockies 1

Hunter Greene earned his sixth win for Cincinnati after striking out 10 batters over six innings. He allowed a run on two hits and two walks. Greene now has a 3.34 earned run average.

Sam Moll and Fernando Cruz earned holds before the Reds pulled away.

Austin Gomber took the loss after allowing four runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out five batters along the way.

Tigers 10, Guardians 1

Jack Flaherty improved to 6-5 after tossing six innings for Detroit. He gave up a run on two hits and two walks, while striking out four batters. Flaherty has a 3.13 ERA on the season.

Spencer Howard took the loss after surrendering four runs on seven hits and three walks. He struck out four over three innings.

Mets 7, Nationals 0

David Peterson moved to 4-0 after working six scoreless innings for New York. He gave up four hits and three walks, while striking out five. Peterson has a 3.09 ERA this season.

Dedniel Nunez earned a hold later in the game for the Mets.

MacKenzie Gore took the loss and fell to 6-8 on the year. He allowed four runs on three hits and three walks, while striking out four.

Pirates 1, Brewers 0

Paul Skenes moved to 6-0 after pitching seven no-hit innings. Skenes allowed a walk and hit a batter, while punching out 11 batters. He has a 1.90 ERA through 11 starts.

Colin Holderman earned a hold before Aroldis Chapman picked up his fourth save of the season.

Aaron Civale was dealt the tough loss. He allowed a run on six hits and two walks over 6 1/3 innings, while striking out eight.

Blue Jays 5, Giants 3

Kevin Gausman earned the win and moved to 7-8. The Toronto starter gave up two runs on six hits over seven innings, while striking out three and walking none.

Zach Pop earned a hold before Chad Green got his five save (despite allowing a ninth-inning run).

Jordan Hicks took his sixth loss after allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out a batter.

Phillies 5, Dodgers 1

Aaron Nola improved to 11-4 after striking out nine batters over six innings. He allowed a run on four hits and two walks. Nola has a 3.38 ERA this season.

Matt Strahm and Jeff Hoffman earned holds before Philadelphia scored to take away the save situation.

Anthony Banda started and took the loss for Los Angeles. He allowed a run on three hits in the first inning, while striking out two.

Landon Knack was the bulk pitcher, giving up three runs on six hits and a walk over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out five.

Cubs 8, Orioles 0

Justin Steele earned his second win after working seven shutout innings. He gave up three hits, while striking out four and walking none. Steele now has a 2.71 ERA.

Albert Suarez took the loss and fell to 5-3 on the season. He allowed four runs on six hits and two walks over five innings, while striking out four.

Rays 5, Yankees 4

Shane Baz started for Tampa Bay, giving up three runs on six hits and a walk over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out five batters.

Kevin Kelly pitched next and got the win. Garrett Cleavinger, Jason Adam, Colin Poche and Manuel Rodriguez all earned holds before Pete Fairbanks got the save. Fairbanks allowed a run before securing the win.

Nestor Cortes took the loss and fell to 4-8 on the season. He allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks, while striking out four.

Red Sox 7, Athletics 0

Tanner Houck improved to 8-6 after tossing six scoreless innings. He gave up two hits and three walks, while striking out six.

Chase Anderson worked the final three innings to get his third save. He struck out five along the way.

Luis Medina fell to 2-4 after taking the loss for Oakland. He surrendered six runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. Medina struck out seven.

Astros 6, Marlins 3

Jake Bloss started for Houston, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out four batters.

Tayler Scott earned his sixth win after getting a couple outs. Bryan Abreu and Ryan Pressly then got saves before Josh Hader recorded his 17th save. Hader struck out a pair in the ninth.

Roddery Munoz took the loss for Miami and is now 1-4 on the season. He gave up six runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings, while striking out a pair.

Mariners 11, Angels 0

Luis Castillo improved to 8-9 after working six scoreless innings for Seattle. He allowed four hits and two walks, but struck out five to work out of trouble. His ERA is down to 3.53 on the season.

Jack Kochanowicz took the loss after allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits over three innings for Los Angeles. He struck out one and walked none.

Kenny Rosenberg saved the Angels’ bullpen by working the final six innings, but he also allowed six runs.

Diamondbacks 1, Braves 0

Brandon Pfaadt improved to 4-6 after tossing six scoreless frames for Arizona. He struck out four batters, walked none and allowed just three hits.

Kevin Ginkel and Ryan Thompson picked up holds before Paul Sewald claimed his 13th save of the year.

Max Fried was the losing pitcher for Atlanta. He started and worked six innings, allowing a run on five hits and three walks. Fried struck out seven batters and has a strong 3.08 ERA for the season.
