Several individual NBA players enjoyed big games over the weekend.

Let’s take a look at some of the best outings from waiver wire options from March 15-17.

Atlanta Hawks’ De'Andre Hunter, rostered in 66% of leagues, played two games over the weekend. He averaged 23.5 points, 2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.5 steals and blocks over 28.2 minutes off the bench.

Hunter has scored in double figures in 17 straight games now, despite starting none of those games. He’s averaging 17.6 points per game over that span, but has struggled to add much else consistently. He’s playing too well to be available in deeper leagues, but probably isn’t doing quite enough to own/play in all standard leagues.

I’ve liked him as a streaming option with Trae Young and other Hawks out, and would stick with that line of thinking for now. The best way to go about things with Hunter is to play him in favorable matchups.

Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson, owned in 67% of leagues, averaged 23 points, 5 assists, three rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks across two games this weekend. He made 11 of his 24 3-point attempts.

Robinson has now scored in double figures in five straight games and nine of the past 10. Robinson probably isn’t going to score quite as well as he did over the weekend most nights, but he does enough else on the court to be a solid fantasy asset most nights. At the very least, I’m streaming Robinson until he cools off from deep.

Toronto Raptors’ Gary Trent Jr., owned in 68% of leagues, averaged 23 points, 4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2 steals and 0.5 blocks across two games this weekend. He was 9-of-17 from 3-point land over the two games.

Trent had missed the team’s previous two games, so it was good to see him pick up where he left off. Trent has now scored in double figures in six straight games, with three outings over 20 points in that span. He adds in a few rebounds, but not much else consistently. He’s still a streaming option in all formats and someone to try to utilize for the time being.

Utah Jazz rookie Keyonte George, rostered in 78% of leagues, played twice this weekend, averaging 21.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and assists and 1 assist per game. George struggled from deep (2-of-14) and overall (13-of-35), but was efficient from the free-throw line (15-of-16) to pour in plenty of points.

If you are in a league that factors in shooting percentages somehow, then these numbers probably won’t inspire you to add George. But if you aren’t penalized for missed shots, George is a fantastic fantasy option. He’s getting at least 15 shot attempts in every game and tacks on some rebounds and assists to be a pretty solid fantasy piece in all formats. I’m all for streaming him until he cools off a bit.

Phoenix Suns’ Grayson Allen, rostered in 79% of leagues, averaged 21 points, 5.5 assists, 1.5 rebounds and one steal across two games this weekend. Allen was 9-of-20 from deep.

Allen has been a solid scoring threat for the past couple weeks, scoring in double figures four straight times and six of the past seven contests. He isn’t always going to add much outside his scoring, but he’s a streaming option in all leagues until he cools off offensively.

Detroit Pistons’ Simone Fontecchio, owned in 66% of leagues, averaged 18.5 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and block and 0.5 steals across two games this weekend. He made seven of his 15 3-point shots.

Fontecchio has scored in double figures in five straight games and in seven of the past eight now. He’s starting and playing over 30 minutes, so I’m a bit confused to see his own percentage still pretty fairly low. He does enough outside of scoring to at least stream in all formats for a little while.

Chicago Bulls’ Ayo Dosunmu, rostered in 79% of leagues, recorded 34 points, nine assists, three rebounds and one steal in the team’s win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday.

Dosunmu has been a bit streaky of late, scoring in double figures just twice over the past four games. He’s capable of these monster outings though, which is why I think he should safely have a roster spot in almost every league out there. He adds in enough assists and rebounds most nights to make up for some lighter-scoring games, and then if he busts out like this, it’s just a bonus. At least stream him for the team’s next game to see if he can stay hot.

Charlotte Hornets’ Grant Williams, owned in 35% of leagues, averaged 17 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1 assist and steal and 0.5 blocks across 29.7 minutes off the bench over the weekend.

Williams has scored in double figures in four straight games now, scoring over 20 points twice in that span. He’s a decent source for rebounds most nights, so I like him as a waiver wire addition in deeper leagues. To get the nod in standard leagues, I’d like to see this level of play continue another week or so.

Charlotte’s Tre Mann also had a nice weekend, averaging 16.5 points, 6.5 assists, 6 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. He’s owned in 37% of leagues.

He recently missed three games, so his own percentage is a bit lower than it really should be. He’s scored in double figures in four straight games now, with plenty of assists and rebounds over those contests too. I’d definitely add Mann in deeper leagues and some dynasties too, and consider him as a streaming option in standard leagues, at least for the time being.

Toronto’s Jordan Nwora, owned in 9% of leagues, averaged 16 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and block and 0.5 assists across 20.7 minutes off the bench over the weekend.

Nwora doesn’t get a ton of playing time usually, but has been hot from the floor of late. He’s getting some extra minutes with the likes of Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett out, so he could be worth streaming until those two guys are back.

Charlotte’s Vasilije Micic, rostered in 56% of leagues, averaged 16 points, 3.5 assists, 1.5 rebounds, 1 block and 0.5 steals over the weekend.

Micic now has scored in double figures in nine straight games. He’s starting now for the Hornets and getting plenty of minutes, but probably doesn’t do enough outside his scoring to own in more leagues. In a pinch, he could be a streaming option in standard leagues, but there’s got to be some more well-rounded players out there.

Detroit’s Evan Fournier, owned in 2% of leagues, averaged 15 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2 assists and steals across 23.5 minutes off the bench over the weekend.

Detroit was missing a couple players, including Ausar Thompson, in both games, so Fournier got some extra playing time and took advantage of it. It showed he could be a streaming option in deeper leagues if a few guys are inactive going forward.

Boston Celtics’ Sam Hauser, rostered in 22% of leagues, made 10 3-pointers in a 30-point showing in the team’s Sunday win over the Wizards. Hauser also had six rebounds and one assist and steal across 23 minutes in a rare start.

Hauser started with Derrick White and Kristaps Porzingis both inactive and lit it up from deep to post a big game. Hauser could be a streaming option in all formats if White, or some other teammates, are out down the final stretch of the regular season. Keep a close eye on the team’s injury report and take advantage of Hauser in those favorable situations.

Utah rookie Taylor Hendricks, owned in 25% of leagues, averaged nine points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 0.5 steals and assists over two games this weekend.

Hendricks had missed the team’s previous three games, so it was nice to see Hendricks get back into the swing of things. He scored 15 points in one game and just three in the other, but if you can live with some inconsistent scoring outings, he’s a consistent rebounder and can be a decent fantasy asset in all formats. I’d definitely consider him heavily in deeper leagues and dynasties.
