We’re through roughly a month of the NBA regular season, which makes it a perfect time to start looking at a number of things.

Here, I wanted to highlight one underrated fantasy player from each team. We’ll cover the Eastern Conference here after already looking over the Western Conference.

Atlanta

Clint Capela has scored 409 fantasy points, but is still available to about 14% of you. He’s playing roughly just 22 minutes a game, but averaging 11 points and 8.3 rebounds, which alone is pretty solid fantasy production. Tacking on some assists, steals and blocks, Capela needs to be rostered in just about every league.

Brooklyn

Dorian Finney-Smith is rostered in 30% of leagues, but has already scored 327 fantasy points. He’s battled injuries, which has that own percentage a bit lower than it should be. He should be rostered in a lot of deeper leagues, and you could get him for free.

Boston

Payton Pritchard has accumulated 432 fantasy points this season. He’s rostered in 79% of leagues, but I think that mark should be closer to 100%. Even in a backup role, Pritchard can produce good fantasy numbers every night, and I’d add him if he was available in my league.

Charlotte

Grant Williams has scored 371 fantasy points this season, but is currently rostered in just 51% of leagues. He’s not a huge scorer, but fills the stat sheet enough to provide good fantasy numbers every night out. I think he needs to be rostered in more leagues.

Chicago

Ayo Dosunmu is rostered in 42% of leagues and has scored 371 fantasy points this season. He’s scoring about 11 points a game and tacking on eight combined rebounds and assists, which makes him a solid fantasy option every night. Any other steals or blocks he tacks on just adds to his fantasy value.

Cleveland

Ty Jerome is already at 443 fantasy points, but is rostered in just 36% of leagues. He’s only averaging 18 minutes a night, but has gotten more minutes of late, and is filling up the stat sheet pretty well. I think that own percentage deserves to be closer to 50%.

Detroit

Isaiah Stewart has scored 400 fantasy points so far, and is rostered in only 33% of leagues. He’s not a big scorer, but he adds in enough rebounds, assists, blocks and steals per night to consistently deliver good fantasy scores. I’d like to see his own percentage rise a little bit.

Indiana

T.J. McConnell is rostered in just 28% of leagues, and has scored 334 fantasy points so far. He’s averaging just under 18 minutes a game, but is filling up the stat sheet enough to be rostered and played in a good amount of deeper leagues, and more than he’s currently owned in now.

Miami

Miami doesn’t really have an underrated fantasy player right now, but Terry Rozier is about to become one as he’s nearing a return from an injury. He’s only rostered in 77% of leagues and has scored 296 fantasy points across 12 games.

Milwaukee

Taurean Prince is rostered in only 18% of leagues, but sits with 314 fantasy points already. He’s playing just under 30 minutes a game, which is a good start toward being a good fantasy asset. Prince has struggled a bit of late, so that own percentage might continue to dwindle, but he should retain a solid role this season as Khris Middleton continues to sit out.

New York

Miles McBride has scored 243 fantasy points in 11 games and is rostered in just 14% of leagues. He’s dealing with a knee injury, and that’s lowering that percentage a good bit, but he’s produced good fantasy numbers when on the court and shouldn’t be overlooked as a deep-league option.

Orlando

Anthony Black has scored 372 fantasy points, but is currently rostered in just 34% of leagues. He plays roughly 24 minutes a game and stuffs the stat sheet pretty well, and that makes him a fairly good fantasy starting option, especially in deeper leagues.

Philadelphia

Jared McCain is owned in nearly every fantasy league now, but I think he’s still underrated. He leads a battered 76ers’ team with 344 fantasy points. If the Sixers ever get healthy, his fantasy value could decrease a bit, but I think McCain is here to stay as a fantasy performer, and is being undervalued right now.

Toronto

Ochai Agbaji has racked up 457 fantasy points, but is actually being dropped more than added right now - he’s at 71% rostered. He deserves to be rostered in more leagues, and held on to instead of dropped after a down fantasy performance or two.

Washington

Bilal Coulibaly is rostered in 78% of leagues and has accumulated 364 fantasy points this season. He’s cooled a bit of late, but is still playing heavy minutes and filling up the stat sheet, and that’s made him an underrated fantasy player all of a sudden.
