2023 Fantasy Football 12-Team PPR Mock Draft: Robust RB Strategy
One of the things I enjoy on FantasySP is the ability to do mock draft simulations. Using the FantasySP Mock Draft Tool, I can play around with different strategies and see if I like the permutations that I come up with.

This mock was a 12-team draft in Full-PPR format, and I had the eighth overall pick. Here are my picks with some brief analysis:
Round 1 (1.08): RB Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
I haven’t drafted Bijan yet, so I wanted to see what a draft with him might look like.
Round 2 (2.05): RB Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys
This might be the last time he is available in Round 2.
Round 3 (3.08): WR Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
Higgins has been going in the early part of the third round, so I was glad he was still on the board.
Round 4 (4.05): RB Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
He will be a third-round pick by September 1, if not before.
Round 5 (5.08): WR Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
I’d rather have Watson as my WR3, but I will take him as my WR2.
Round 6 (6.05): TE Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
One day I will be right about him being a stud.
Round 7 (7.08): WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
I’m a huge fan of the talent and of the team.
Round 8 (8.05): WR Gabe Davis, Buffalo Bills
Davis is totally over his ankle issues, and I think his expected 2022 breakout might come in 2023.
Round 9 (9.08): QB Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings
Cousins is always underrated, and always over 4,000 passing yards and 28+ TD.
Round 10 (10.05): WR Skyy Moore, Kansas City Chiefs
The Skyy is the limit for him in Year 2.
Round 11 (11.08): QB Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
I like the idea of streaming Cousins and Goff depending on the matchup.
Round 12 (12.05): TE Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
My Bills sources say that he could get 60+ targets as a rookie.
Round 13 (13.08): RB Tank Bigsby, Jacksonville Jaguars
No way Bigsby should be available this late.
Round 14 (14.05): New York Jets Defense
The Jets' defense is as stingy as they come. I just am hoping for more sacks.
Round 15 (15.08): K Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens
Tucker is always one of the first kickers off the board.
Round 16 (16.05): RB Tyjae Spears, Tennesse Titans
I doubt he will be available this late. He looks like he is ready to be Derrick Henry’s backup as a rookie.
Final Verdict
As you might imagine, with my robust RB strategy, I am thrilled with my running backs, but think I am one wide receiver from having a terrific team. Christian Watson’s upside is immense, but I can see him struggling a little with Jordan Love as the QB.
