Best Early NFL Bets Week 2: Dolphins @ Patriots Over/Under Pick, Packers @ Falcons Spread Bet
My bets in Week 1 went 2-1, so this week, we will look to go 3-0. The Chiefs' loss on TNF also ruined the five-game moneyline parlay, but we will look to change our fortune this week. I love looking at early betting lines and game totals because you can often get a line or total that isn’t heavily influenced by what the “public” is on. What you see on Monday-Wednesday is almost assuredly different than what you will see on Saturday and Sunday.

Best Early NFL Bets Week 2
Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots OVER 46.5
The Dolphins' offense is and will be one of the best in the NFL this season, as long as Tua Tagovailoa remains healthy. In Week 1, the Dolphins scored 36 points and passed for over 450 yards and three TDs. The Patriots' offense looked good in Week 1 as well, and did so against a really tough Eagles defense. The Dolphins could average 30+ points per game this season and can certainly do it this weekend, which means we will only need 17+ points from the Patriots. The Pats offense can certainly put that number up, especially against a Dolphins defense that allowed 34 points in Week 1 and struggled a lot last season, too. The Dolphins are a quick-strike offense, so expect plenty of possessions on both sides this weekend and a high-scoring game that easily tops 50 total points.
Green Bay Packers -1.5 @ Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons came away with a big win on Sunday against their division rival Panthers, however, the final score doesn’t tell the entire story. Their offense struggled until late in the game, as the score was tied 10-10 until the fourth quarter. The Packers went into Chicago in Week 1 as underdogs because of injuries on offense, but they silenced all their critics with a big 38-point performance, and their new starting QB Jordan Love looked excellent, throwing for 245 yards and three TDs and not turning the ball over. The Packers' defense and offense are far superior to those of the Panthers, so the Falcons are in for a much tougher situation this weekend. I am pretty confident that the public agrees with me, and as the week progresses, the Packers will become more heavy favorites. This line opened up at -0.5 and is already up to -1.5 in 24 hours, so jump on it now before it moves to 2 or even 2.5 closer to kickoff. The Falcons are an okay team, but they don’t have the passing attack necessary to keep pace with the Packers' offense.
Washington Commanders @ Denver Broncos UNDER 38.5
Both of these teams are offensively challenged, and it showed in their Week 1 games. They both struggled against sub-par defenses and I expect that to be the case for most of the season. With that being said, I must commend both teams when it comes to their defenses. Both sides have plenty of playmakers on defense, and we should expect to see a low-scoring game this weekend in what should be an ugly display on offense. Sam Howell underperformed in Week 1 as the Commanders' starter, while Russell Wilson only put together one good drive. He missed Jerry Jeudy, who is out with an injury, and veteran WR Courtland Sutton had only four catches for 32 yards. This game has the makings of being a 16-13 or 20-16 final score.
