Best NFL DFS Plays Week 2: Justin Fields, Josh Jacobs, Zay Flowers, Travis Kelce
Best DFS Quarterbacks Week 2
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
If I'm playing single-entry or three-entry-max contests, I will start almost every team with a Chiefs stack with Mahomes as my quarterback. The Jaguars' defense is aggressive but they make a lot of mistakes and I think Mahomes should be able to feast. His passing yards prop is also the highest of the slate.

Justin Fields, Chicago Bears
Tampa Bay showed some resilience against Minnesota in Week 1, but Kirk Cousins is a very immobile quarterback and Tampa is going to be seeing a completely different look with Justin Fields, whose mobility and speed will be too much for this Tampa pass rush. Look for Fields to get at least 80 to 90 yards rushing and maybe about 200 passing yards and a touchdown.
Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks
If you remember last season, the Detroit/Seattle game blew up and made a lot of people a ton of money. I'm going right back to the well once again. I think Seattle is going to play much better this week and if Geno Smith is willing to throw the ball downfield to D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett I can see a lot of big plays happening. The best part about this play is that you're going to get Smith at the lowest ownership possible after last week’s disaster.
Best DFS Running Backs Week 2
Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders
People tend to overlook the Raiders on the road, especially because they're coming to the East Coast and there's that old adage about not playing West Coast teams who play early games on the East Coast. I'm not so worried about that as I think that the Raiders are going to give the ball to Josh Jacobs about 25 times and he's going to be able to dominate the Bills' defensive line to the tune of 100 yards and a touchdown. He's especially a lock in all my FanDuel lineups.
Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans
The Titans got away from the run against the Saints and Henry lost a ton of snaps to Tyjae Spears. That's going to self-correct because I am sure that after watching the film the Titans realized their best way of winning any game is to get Henry the ball at least 20 times. I see that happening for sure against the Chargers who are very susceptible against the run.
Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans
The Texans fell behind in the early second half against the Ravens last week and they abandoned their running game, thus abandoning Dameon Pierce. I think this week's game against the Colts is winnable and Pierce will see 20 carries. If he finds the end zone, he could be well worth his price on all sites.
Best DFS Wide Receivers Week 2
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
Saint-Brown is arguably the best receiver in the league not named Justin Jefferson. He's a target monster who dominated against the Chiefs, and I think he absolutely will dominate against the Seahawks in Week 2. ARSB runs crisp, precise routes that make him almost impossible to cover one-on-one.
D.K. Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks
For Seattle to win this game and keep themselves from going down 0-2 for the season they're going to have to get Metcalf more involved. Metcalf is at his best when he's challenging secondaries deep, and the Lions' secondary is still young and not particularly fast; Metcalf can take full advantage.
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
I wouldn't call Flowers an under-the-radar play, but I still feel that people haven't caught up to how good he really is. With J.K. Dobbins not in the lineup the Ravens may throw more than anticipated, and Flowers can get those quick first and second-down catches and take them for big gains.
Best DFS Tight Ends Week 2
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
If I'm stacking Mahomes, I'm doing it with Kelce, and I'm getting myself the two best players at their positions in a game that should be very high-scoring. I know that it's an expensive way to start a lineup, but I'm not sure I really care as Kelce may be 10 to 15 points better than any other tight end on the slate.
Darren Waller, New York Giants
I loved Waller coming into this season, and I don't want to let one week against the best defense in the league dissuade me from continuing to use him. The Giants were completely outplayed against Dallas, but I think they'll win this game against Arizona, and Waller will be a huge part of that success.
Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
Musgrave was out there for a ton of snaps and almost found his way into the end zone a couple of times against the Bears in Week 1. Jordan Love seems to like going to him, and I expect that Christian Watson will be out once again; there's even a possibility that Aaron Jones may miss Week 2 with an injured hamstring. If that happens, it makes Musgrave a must-start.
