Week 16 of the NFL season only has 10 games, but there’s some fun matchups lined up. If your favorite team isn’t playing in those games, maybe you want to add some excitement to the contests, so let’s check out some player prop bets.
We’ll cover prop bets for five players across what I believe are the four best Sunday matchups - and the ones I think the most people will be tuned in to. We'll hit on two quarterbacks, two running backs and one tight end.

Bijan Robinson Prop Bets
Robinson comes into week 16 with an average line of 85.5 total rushing and receiving yards.
The talented Atlanta Falcons’ rookie has topped that mark five times this season, doing so as recently as two weeks ago.
Robinson will be going up against an Indianapolis Colts’ defense that struggles in slowing opposing running backs. Indy allows an average of 103.9 rushing yards and 41.6 receiving yards to backs.
Robinson might have split touches with Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson for much of the season, but with the Falcons fighting for a playoff spot, I think they turn to their talented rookie more often this week.
Robinson is just 4-10 against this line this season, including going under the past three weeks.
Verdict: Seeing the favorable matchup, I think Robinson can do enough on his touches (even though he’s not the workhorse) in order to go over 85.5 total rushing and receiving yards.
Sam LaPorta Prop Bets
LaPorta has average lines of 48.5 receiving yards and 4.5 receptions for week 16.
LaPorta has hit that reception mark eight times this season, while going over the yardage mark seven times (and missing it by 2 yards two other times).
The Detroit Lions play the Minnesota Vikings this week, which is a pretty average matchup for LaPorta. Tight ends are averaging 5 catches and 44.9 receiving yards.
LaPorta is 8-5 against the receiving yard line and 8-4 against the reception line this season.
Verdict: I like LaPorta to remain heavily involved in the Lions’ offense this week, so give me over 4.5 receptions and 48.5 receiving yards for the week.
Baker Mayfield Prop Bets
Mayfield has average lines of 236.5 passing yards and 1.5 touchdowns for week 16.
Mayfield has topped that yardage eight times already this season, while throwing multiple touchdowns on eight occasions also.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off with the Jacksonville Jaguars in week 16. That’s a favorable matchup for Mayfield, as the Jags’ defense allows an average of 271.4 passing yards and 1.6 passing touchdowns.
Mayfield is 8-5 against his passing TD and passing yardage lines this season.
Verdict: I like Mayfield to stay hot this week and put together another huge passing performance. Give me over 236.5 passing yards and 1.5 passing touchdowns. I actually think Mayfield will be one of the top-scoring fantasy players for a second straight week.
Dak Prescott Prop Bets
Prescott has average lines of 277.5 passing yards and 1.5 passing touchdowns for week 16.
The Dallas Cowboys’ QB has reached that yardage five times, and only missed it by a couple yards two other times. He’s thrown multiple touchdowns in eight contests.
His matchup against the Miami Dolphins is pretty average. Miami’s defense allows an average of 226.6 yards and 1.2 passing touchdowns.
Prescott is 7-7 against his passing TD line this season, while going 9-5 against his passing yardage lines.
Verdict: I like Prescott to bounce back from a down week 15 showing, but I don’t think he’ll throw for that many yards. Give me over 1.5 passing touchdowns, but under 277.5 passing yards.
Raheem Mostert Prop Bets
Mostert comes into week 16 with an average line of 71.5 total rushing and receiving yards.
The Dolphins’ back has reached that mark eight times already this season. The last time he hit that mark was two weeks ago, and he’s eclipsed that mark four times over the past six weeks.
The Cowboys’ defense is a tough matchup, but was just shredded by the Buffalo Bills’ backfield. Dallas allows an average of 87.6 rushing yards and 24.6 receiving yards.
Mostert is 8-6 against this stat for the season.
Verdict: I think the Dolphins’ backfield continues to churn out yardage against the Cowboys’ defense, so even though Mostert will split touches with De’Von Achane, I still like Mostert to go over 71.5 total rushing and receiving yards.
