10-Team PPR Dynasty Fantasy Football Mock Draft from 7th Position | Anthony Richardson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Malik Nabers, Dalton Kincaid and More

Morgan conducts his sixth fantasy football draft of the year, selecting seventh in a 10-team dynasty setup.

A couple days ago, I promised some new settings for a mock draft. Well, that day has arrived.

This is a 10-team PPR dynasty mock draft done with the FantasyPros draft simulator. Starting spots were: one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one flex and seven bench players. I got pick seven.

Let’s get into it!

Round 1 - Jahmyr Gibbs

After four wide receivers went off the board, I capped a run of three running backs by taking Gibbs with pick seven. I love his long-term outlook and think he’ll only get better as he ages. He might have to split work with David Montgomery now, but that should extend his NFL career.

Round 2 - Malik Nabers

Another run of receivers went after my pick, and I decided to go with Nabers with my second pick. He doesn’t have the greatest outlook right now with the QB situation in New York, but I expect that to improve at some point. I’m fine taking a little gamble on him, because his upside is off the charts if his situation improves.

Round 3 - DeVonta Smith

I had my pick of receivers here in round three, but decided on Smith over guys like Brandon Aiyuk and Drake London. Aiyuk is a year older, so that’s where Smith got the edge for me there. Smith was my choice over London because I simply haven’t been as impressed with London as I have Smith in their NFL careers.

Round 4 - Kenneth Walker III

I really wanted another running back here and decided on the 23-year-old Walker. He’s been good in his first two seasons, and still has room to grow. If the Seattle quarterback situation improves, that should help Walker stay relevant there for several more seasons.

Round 5 - Dalton Kincaid

A couple tight ends started to go since my last pick, so I decided to grab one of my own with Kincaid in the fifth. I love his dynasty outlook since Josh Allen is throwing him the ball. There’s a little risk involved since he’s only played a season, so I plan to grab another good TE later.

Round 6 - Anthony Richardson

There were some other good fantasy quarterbacks available here (Justin Herbert, Kyler Murray, C.J. Stroud), but I decided on the upside of Richardson. Again, it’s a little risky of a pick because he hasn’t proven much yet, so I plan to grab another quarterback at some point.

Round 7 - Jaxon Smith-Njigba

I dipped back into the wide receiver options in round seven with Smith-Njigba. I think he emerges as the team’s No. 2 target this season. Even if he never acts as his team’s No. 1 option, I see a long and fruitful fantasy career for JSN.

Round 8 - Jayden Reed

I went with another young wideout in round eight. Reed had a fantastic rookie season and is a player the Packers will look to get the ball into the hands of often over the next several years. Getting guys like JSN and Reed help me out this season in case Nabers struggles as a rookie.

Round 9 - Jordan Love

I probably should have gone running back here, but I believe in Gibbs and Walker and simply couldn’t pass on Love. He’s a great backup option in case Richardson fails to develop into a big-time fantasy threat.

Round 10 - Amari Cooper

Again, I should have gone running back, but I decided to add a veteran to try to help me win this season. Cooper should still have a couple solid seasons left in him.

Round 11 - George Kittle

I mentioned wanting to grab another tight end at some point, and Kittle is great value here in the 11th. He can fill in if Kincaid were injured, or possibly be a flex starter for the next couple seasons.

Round 12 - Ricky Pearsall

I really should be taking a running back, but kept adding to my receiver depth with Pearsall in the 12th round. With Deebo Samuel Sr. and Aiyuk in San Fran, this pick is more of a future one and I hope he can learn from those two and eventually be a stud for my team.

Round 13 - Romeo Doubs

Doubs is yet another young wideout I took a swing on over a running back. The Packers’ WR room doesn’t have a true No. 1 option, so being able to take one of the possibilities this late was too much to pass on.

Round 14 - Kimani Vidal

I finally got another RB in round 14 with Vidal. I don’t see him having a big role this season, but that could change with an injury. This is more a play for the future, and my hope would be that Vidal plays a significant role starting in 2025.

Round 15 - Audric Estime

The same things can be said about Estime. My round 15 pick probably has a bit better chance to make a difference this season, and I’m hoping I could start him once my RBs start having bye weeks.

Final Thoughts

I got a grade of 89 out of 100, which is a B+ on the FantasyPros site. I was projected third in the league for the upcoming season.

I liked how things turned out for my QBs, WRs and TEs, but definitely wish I would have added some other receivers before Vidal and Estime. I’d almost need to make a trade before the season began, although I could roll the dice and wait until one of my RBs had a bye week or got injured before making a deal.

I have more than enough ammo to make a deal for another back if needed, but definitely would have tweaked my approach after looking back on things.

Overall, I feel solid about my team, both for this coming season and future ones. We’ll continue with the dynasty theme in upcoming mocks, so keep checking back for those!
