NFL Power Rankings Week 13: Eagles Climb into Top 3, while Steelers Fall Outside Top 5
The latest NFL power rankings as we head into Week 13.
NFL Power Rankings Week 13
32. Las Vegas Raiders
Last Week: 32
Unfortunately for the Raiders, a quarterback switch to Aidan O'Connell does not warrant them climbing out of the basement.
31. New York Giants
Last Week: 29
The Giants have hit rock bottom after moving on from Daniel Jones and are now in a battle for the first-overall pick in this year's draft.
30. Jacksonville Jaguars
Last Week: 31
The Jags defaulted up a spot during their bye week. At least we can hope that they get Trevor Lawrence back this week. He's not great, but he's also Mac Jones.
29. New York Jets
Last Week: 27
The Jets managed to drop two spots during their bye week as the circus that is their franchise continues to manage more and more clowns in the clown car with each passing performance.
28. New England Patriots
Last Week: 26
The Pats did their best impression of a punching bag this week against the surging Dolphins.
27. Tennessee Titans
Last Week: 30
The Titans managed to pull off a win against the Texans this week. That is probably more alarming for the Texans than it is encouraging for the Titans.
26. Dallas Cowboys
Last Week: 28
Somehow the Cowboys managed to beat the Commanders last week in an impossibly wacky game.
25. Carolina Panthers
Last Week: 25
Carolina played Kansas City right down to the final buzzer on Sunday. They still lost, but Bryce Young and the offense have played better since he got a second shot at the starting job. Perhaps all is not lost.
24. Chicago Bears
Last Week: 22
The once-hopeful Bears continue to spiral into a pit of despair after yet another loss. That makes five in a row.
23. Indianapolis Colts
Last Week: 21
Some weeks the Colts look like a bottom-five team, while others they look like they still look subpar but like they could crack the top 20. It's not great, but it could be worse.
22. New Orleans Saints
Last Week: 23
The Saints feel like they should be lower than 23, nevertheless, this is where they land.
21. Cleveland Browns
Last Week: 24
The Browns can't seem to get out of their own way most weeks, but when they win games it's usually pretty impressive. Plus, who doesn't love watching Jameis Winston?
20. San Francisco 49ers
Last Week: 14
Everything we've been saying about the Bengals you can copy and paste here but even worse. We keep expecting them to turn it around, however, time is running out.
19. Cincinnati Bengals
Last Week: 20
Speaking of the devil, Cincy climbs a spot during their bye week because at least they have Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase.
18. Los Angeles Rams
Last Week: 17
There is very little to love or hate about the Rams. They exemplify a No. 18 ranked team.
17. Washington Commanders
Last Week: 11
A third straight loss, and this time in embarrassing fashion to the lowly Cowboys, sends the spiraling Commanders plummeting down the rankings.
16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Last Week: 19
The Bucs beat up on a terrible Giants team, but a win is a win and they are getting healthy.
15. Los Angeles Chargers
Last Week: 12
The Chargers suffered a tough loss to the Ravens on Monday Night Football. They continued to show why they are a competitive team, but lack any upside of being a real threat to win anything of significance.
14. Houston Texans
Last Week: 9
Losing to the Titans is brutal. This team has taken a huge step back this year and will only win the AFC South because of how bad everyone else is. We fully expect their season to end with a whimper early in the playoffs.
13. Arizona Cardinals
Last Week: 7
The always-unpredictable Cardinals got beat up on by the Seahawks in Week 12 in a game that was impossible to predict.
12. Atlanta Falcons
Last Week: 15
The Falcons probably don't deserve to leapfrog three spots during their bye week, however, the teams that fell behind them certainly deserved their fate.
11. Seattle Seahawks
Last Week: 18
The Seahawks now lead the NFC West somehow. What a mess that division is.
10. Miami Dolphins
Last Week: 16
After a nightmarish start to the season, Miami climbs into the top 10 and has a shot to make the playoffs if they continue to win games. This is a different team with Tua Tagovailoa under center. Somehow even the defense and special teams are better.
9. Minnesota Vikings
Last Week: 10
Minnesota continues to win games while looking as unimpressive as possible. Nonetheless, they continue to win games.
8. Denver Broncos
Last Week: 13
Denver has a great defense and rookie QB who is playing well. The wheels could fall off, or this could be a sign of things to come.
7. Green Bay Packers
Last Week: 8
The Packers mollywopped a short-handed Niners team this week and have a tough test against Miami on Thanksgiving.
6. Pittsburgh Steelers
Last Week: 4
The Steelers lost to the Browns this week, but don't fall as much as you might have expected due to the circumstance of a shortened week in a blizzard.
5. Baltimore Ravens
Last Week: 6
The Ravens bounced back with a solid win against the Chargers on Monday Night Football after a tough divisional loss.
4. Buffalo Bills
Last Week: 3
The Bills did nothing wrong to warrant them falling a spot during their bye. Philly just looks like a more complete team at the moment and possibly deserves to be even higher.
3. Philadelphia Eagles
Last Week: 5
The Eagles are firing on all cylinders on both sides of the ball right now and look like legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
2. Kansas City Chiefs
Last Week: 2
The Chiefs continue to win tight games no matter who they are playing against. It's definitely scary, but also shows they can win tight games.
1. Detroit Lions
Last Week: 1
The Lions hold the top spot after pulverizing another helpless victim in Week 12.
