November 1 Fantasy Hockey Teams to Stream: Bo Horvat, Vincent Trocheck, Victor Mancini and More
Four NHL teams with good matchups on Friday and the players on those teams who are most involved in the action.
Streamers in any fantasy sport are dependent on the best matchups to put players in position to succeed. In hockey, that means finding teams who allow the most goals (and shots, for the purpose of this article). There are other stats in fantasy hockey but goals and assists usually rule the day.
Let’s look at four NHL teams with good matchups on Friday and the players on those teams who are most involved. I try not to list injured players, but make sure you check actives/inactives before game time. Stats are from NHL.com.
New York Islanders @ Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres are 11th in shots allowed and seventh in goals allowed per game. They have been a little better preventing goals over their last few games, not giving up more than three goals in a game since October 17.

New York Rangers vs. Ottawa Senators
The Senators are 12th in shots allowed per game and 10th in goals allowed per game. New York is a worse matchup, but they will have to be good enough today, as we don’t have many better options. The Rangers have allowed the seventh-most shots per game but just the 30th-most goals per game.
