Brooks Raley | Fantasy Outlook

Raley remains a reliable holds option amidst a heavily depleted Mets roster

Raley has been sharp of late, posting a 2.65 ERA and a strikeout per inning over his last five appearances. He continues to serve as a primary late-inning setup option for a fifth-place Mets team that is currently 29-36. The team is heavily depleted by injuries to key stars like Francisco Lindor and Francisco Alvarez, putting added pressure on Raley to keep games close.

His elite 1.81 ERA on the season is highly impressive, though a 1.46 WHIP and 11 walks in 19.9 innings hint at some potential regression. Our models project a rest-of-season 3.75 ERA and 1.22 WHIP, which aligns closer to his career norms. Because Devin Williams has the ninth inning locked down, Raley's fantasy utility is strictly limited to holds and ratio stabilization.
