Phillies 6, Giants 1

Bryce Harper hit a three-run homer among his two hits to power Philadelphia at the plate. Kyle Schwarber added a solo homer among his two hits, walked once and scored twice.

J.T. Realmuto and Nick Castellanos each had two hits and a run scored, with Castellanos also walking twice and driving in a run for the Phillies. 

Zack Wheeler improved to 4-3 after striking out 11 batters over seven innings. He allowed an unearned run on four hits and one walk. Wheeler now has a 1.64 earned run average for the season.

Mason Black took the loss on the mound after allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks. He struck out four batters over 4 1/3 innings.

Jung Hoo Lee and LaMonte Wade Jr. each had two hits for San Francisco.

Guardians 2, Tigers 1

Jose Ramirez hit a solo homer for Cleveland. Tyler Freeman led the team with two hits, and also stole a base.

Triston McKenzie started for Cleveland, allowing a run on three hits and three walks over five innings, while striking out six. Nick Sandlin earned his third win out of the bullpen, while Emmanuel Clase picked up his 11th save and lowered his ERA to 0.49.

Jack Flaherty took the tough loss, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six batters.

Riley Greene homered for the lone Detroit run. Carson Kelly got on base twice.

Pirates 4, Angels 1

Edward Olivares hit a grand slam to provide all the Pittsburgh runs. He finished with two hits.

Bryan Reynolds had two hits and a run scored for Pittsburgh. Andrew McCutchen got on base twice and scored once.

Mitch Keller pitched all nine innings to get the win, striking out five along the way. He allowed a run on five hits and one walk.

Tyler Anderson took the loss after allowing four runs on six hits and three walks over 6 1/3 innings. He struck out five and still has a 2.74 ERA this season.

Zach Neto homered for the only Los Angeles run. Mickey Moniak had two hits.

Rays 8, White Sox 2

Jonny DeLuca hit a two-run homer for Tampa Bay - he finished with two hits and four RBIs. Harold Ramirez had four hits, one RBI, one stolen base and three runs scored.

Josh Lowe tallied two hits in his season debut for the Rays. Ben Rortvedt got on base twice, drove in a run and scored twice. Randy Arozarena got on base three times and stole a base, while Jose Caballero got on twice, stole a base and scored once.

Tyler Alexander started and struck out seven over four innings, while allowing two runs on four hits and one walk. Erasmo Ramirez picked up his second win after pitching three scoreless innings.

Mike Clevinger took the loss in his season debut, allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits and four walks over two innings. He did not record a strikeout.

Tommy Pham hit a two-run homer for Chicago. 

Royals 3, Brewers 2

Michael Massey hit a solo homer for Kansas City. Maikel Garcia reached base three times and drove in two, while Bobby Witt Jr. walked twice and stole a base.

Cole Ragans started for KC, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks over six innings, while striking out eight.

Nick Anderson got his second win out of the pen. Chris Stratton earned his second save with the Royals giving normal closer James McArthur a day off.

Bryse Wilson started for Milwaukee, striking out six over six scoreless innings. Wilson, who has a 2.40 ERA, allowed a hit and three walks. Jared Koenig took his first loss out of the bullpen after allowing three runs and only getting an out. Elvis Peguero was charged with a blown save.

Gary Sanchez hit a two-run homer for Milwaukee. 

Padres 6, Cubs 3

Luis Campusano drove in three runs on two hits to lead San Diego at the plate. Donovan Solano got on base three times, drove in a run and scored once, while Jurickson Profar drove in two runs on a hit and scored once.

Jake Cronenworth and Xander Bogaerts had two hits and a run scored each. Cronenworth also stole a base.

Yu Darvish got his second win after striking out five over five scoreless innings. He allowed three hits and a walk. Robert Suarez struck out three of the five batters he faced to earn his 11th save.

Justin Steele started for Chicago, not allowing a run on three hits and a walk. He struck out two over 4 2/3 innings. Richard Lovelady got the loss after allowing three runs.

Christopher Morel hit a two-run homer for Chicago, and Yan Gomes hit a solo shot. Morel also walked once and stole a base. Mike Tauchman reached base three times, stole a base and scored once, while Nick Madrigal had two knocks. Dansby Swanson walked twice for the Cubs. 

Twins 3, Mariners 1

Carlos Correa drove in a run on two hits and scored once for Minnesota. Max Kepler added two hits, walked once and scored a run. Carlos Santana drew two walks.

Simeon Woods Richardson started and struck out eight over six scoreless innings. He allowed just one hit and walk.

Griffin Jax was charged with his second blown save, but ended up earning his third win. Jhoan Duran got his second hold, and Caleb Thielbar earned his third save.

Luis Castillo struck out seven over 6 2/3 innings for Seattle. He allowed three runs on three hits and walks while falling to 3-5.

Cal Raleigh was the only Seattle player to reach twice, walking both times.

Mets 4, Cardinals 3

Brandon Nimmo hit a solo homer among his two hits and also scored twice for New York. Joey Wendle and Tomas Nido had two hits each, with Nido also scoring a run. J.D. Martinez got on base twice.

Sean Manaea started for the Mets, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out one and improved to 2-1. Edwin Diaz picked up his fifth save after a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

Kyle Gibson allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks over six innings for the Cardinals. He struck out four. Andrew Kittredge took the loss out of the pen.

Jose Fermin had two hits and a run scored for St. Louis. Ivan Herrera drove in two runs on a hit. 

Rangers 4, Athletics 2

Corey Seager hit a three-run home run for Texas. Leody Taveras got on base three times and scored once, while Josh Smith and Nathaniel Lowe each reached twice, with Smith also scoring once.

Andrew Heaney worked six innings for Texas, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits. He struck out five.

Jose Leclerc got his third win out of the pen, while Kirby Yates picked up his sixth save.

Alex Wood was Oakland’s starter, striking out three over six scoreless innings. He allowed two hits and one walk. Lucas Erceg was charged with his second blown save and loss of the year.

Abraham Toro had three knocks for Oakland. J.D. Davis had two hits and a run scored. JJ Bleday got on base twice and scored once.

Dodgers 6, Marlins 3

Shohei Ohtani and James Outman each hit a two-run homer for Los Angeles. Freddie Freeman and Teoscar Hernandez each added solo shots.

Ohtani ended up getting on base three times and also stole two bases, while Hernandez had two total hits. Mookie Betts finished with two hits, a walk and a run scored, while Andy Pages got on base twice.

Walker Buehler made his first start of the season for LA, allowing three runs on six hits over four innings. He struck out four and didn’t walk a batter.

Ryan Yarbrough got the win after working three scoreless innings - he’s now 3-1 with a 2.70 ERA. Alex Vesia earned his first save, with normal closer Evan Phillips out with an injury.

Roddery Munoz was the losing pitcher, allowing six runs on seven hits and four walks across 4 2/3 innings. He struck out five along the way.

Nick Gordon hit a solo homer for Miami. Jesus Sanchez drove in a run on two hits, while Jazz Chisholm Jr. had two hits, a stolen base and a run scored.
