Top Hitters

Pittsburgh Pirates’ Ke'Bryan Hayes, Oakland Athletics’ Brent Rooker and Colorado Rockies’ Ezequiel Tovar all had seven hits over the weekend.

Hayes had six singles and one double for his hits. He drove in a run, scored four times and struck out twice.

Rooker had three home runs and singles and one double for his weekend knocks. He drove in seven runs, scored four times, walked once, had a sacrifice fly and struck out on five occasions.

Tovar had three doubles and two singles and homers this weekend. He drove in four runs, scored three times, walked once and struck out on three occasions.

Oakland’s Lawrence Butler and Colorado’s Michael Toglia each clubbed four homers in three games played.

Butler drove in eight runs, scored four times and did not have a walk or strikeout.

Toglia drove in five runs, scored four times and struck out on three occasions.

Cincinnati Reds’ Rece Hinds stayed hot with three home runs this weekend - those were his only knocks. He drove in seven runs, scored five times, walked once, was hit by a pitch and struck out twice.

Oakland’s Max Schuemann joined Hinds with five runs scored this weekend. He had three singles and two walks, along with a pair of strikeouts.

Arizona Diamondbacks’ Corbin Carroll drove in seven runs on three hits, a walk and a sacrifice fly. He hit two homers and a single. Carroll also scored four runs, stole two bases and struck out just once.

New York Yankees’ Aaron Judge had three weekend hits and also walked seven times - he reached base another time after being hit by a pitch. He hit two homers and one double, drove in two runs, scored three times and struck out on three occasions.

New York Mets’ Francisco Lindor had four hits and six walks. He posted three singles and a homer, drove in four runs, scored once, stole two bases and struck out twice.

Philadelphia Phillies’ Bryce Harper had three hits and five walks. He had a single, double and home run, drove in three runs, scored four times and was not a strikeout victim.

Seattle Mariners’ Julio Rodriguez reached base eight times this weekend. He had five singles and a homer among his six hits and also was plunked by two pitches. Rodriguez also drove in three runs, scored once and struck out five times.

Chicago White Sox’s Luis Robert Jr. stole three bases this weekend. He had five singles for his weekend hits, and also walked twice. Robert drove in two runs and struck out two times.

Arizona’s Ketel Marte had five hits across nine at-bats. He had four singles and a homer for his knocks, while walking three times. He drove in five runs, scored twice and struck out just once.

San Francisco Giants’ Mike Yastrzemski had six knocks in 11 at-bats over the weekend. He had three doubles, two singles and a triple for his hits and also drew one walk. Yastrzemski drove in two runs, scored twice and struck out just once.

Washington Nationals’ Juan Yepezalso had six hits across 11 at-bats. He posted four singles and two doubles, while also walking twice. Yepez drove in a run, scored three times, stole a base and struck out just twice.

Milwaukee Brewers’ Willy Adames had a .500 average, collecting six hits (three singles, two doubles and one homer) among his 12 at-bats. He drove in five runs, scored three times, walked once and struck out four times.

Yankees’ Gleyber Torres had four hits in eight at-bats, while also walking three times. Torres had three singles and a double, drove in a run, scored once, had a sacrifice and struck out three times.

Pittsburgh’s Bryan Reynolds had six knocks in 12 at-bats. He hit five singles and a home run, drove in five runs, scored three times, walked and struck out once and was plunked by a pitch.

Los Angeles Angels’ Jo Adell had four hits across eight at-bats and also walked two times. He had two singles and one double and homer for his knocks. Adell drove in five runs, scored twice and struck out on three occasions.

Miami Marlins’ Xavier Edwards was another hitter with a .500 average, tallying six hits in 12 at-bats. He had five singles and a double, while driving in a run, scoring twice, walking twice, stealing two bases and striking out three times.

Milwaukee’s Sal Frelick also had six hits in 12 at-bats. He had four singles and two doubles to go along with one RBI, two runs scored, a walk, two stolen bases and one strikeout.
