12-Team PPR Fantasy Football Mock Draft from 10th Position | Jahmyr Gibbs, Marvin Harrison Jr., Mike Evans, Joe Mixon, Zay Flowers and More
Morgan conducts his fourth fantasy football draft of the year, selecting 10th in a 12-team standard setup.
As the NFL regular season closes in, mock drafts become more and more important. After doing a trio of 10-team mocks (first pick, fifth pick, 10th pick), I decided to bump things up to 12 teams for my next mock.
This 12-team PPR mock was done with the FantasySP mock draft simulator. I’m sticking with the settings from the first three mocks, so one QB, two RB, two WR, one TE and one flex and then seven bench spots. I was randomly given pick 10.
Let’s dive into things!

Round 1 - Jahmyr Gibbs
In 12-team leagues, I love starting off with a running back, especially with a pick later in the first round. Gibbs was simply too much to pass on. I liked his upside more than Jonathan Taylor and Saquon Barkley.
Round 2 - Marvin Harrison Jr.
In the second round, I decided for another high upside pick in Harrison. I was hoping Garrett Wilson or Puka Nacua fell to me, but they were the two picks leading up to mine. I could have taken a proven Davante Adams, but like Harrison’s ceiling more even though he’s a rookie.
Round 3 - Mike Evans
I backed up some high upside picks with a proven Evans in round three. He’s about as consistent a fantasy player as you can get, and should be a wideout I can start all season.
Round 4 - Joe Mixon
I’m not thrilled with having Mixon as my second RB, but I felt like I couldn’t wait on a second back any longer and didn’t like any of the other options (Alvin Kamara, Kenneth Walker III) as much.
Round 5 - Zay Flowers
I went with Flowers in the fifth round. There was a brief thought to go with Rhamondre Stevenson or D'Andre Swift, and in hindsight, I wish I would have. It’s not that I don’t like Flowers, it’s more that the running backs kind of dried up after this pick.
Round 6 - George Kittle
This was another regret in the middle rounds - again, I like Kittle, I just wish I would have gone with a different position. Kittle is a TE I can start pretty much every week, so this pick at least fills the tight end spot for the season.
Round 7 - Jaylen Warren
I got a little desperate for another running back and took a shot on Warren in round seven. In a PPR league, Warren is a flex option every week and a pretty solid No. 3 option, but ideally he’d be my No. 4 option.
Round 8 - Jayden Reed
I dipped back into the WR pool with Reed in the eighth. I love taking chances on receivers who have a chance to serve as their team’s best fantasy options, and getting Reed this late could be a major steal. He’s another weekly flex option, at least at the start of the season.
Round 9 - Jared Goff
I finally grabbed my top quarterback in round nine with Goff. I love the value of Goff at this point of the draft and really don’t feel like I missed out on anything by waiting so long for a QB.
Round 10 - Courtland Sutton
Remember what I said about taking chances on a team's potential No. 1 receivers? Well, Sutton could be that guy for the Broncos. The offense isn’t going to be great, but that could mean a lot of garbage time stats, and the fantasy points count all the same.
Round 11 - Joshua Palmer
I really wanted another running back but just could not pinpoint one I liked. I like Palmer as one of the few wideouts in LA who Justin Herbert has some history with. I feel like Palmer is flying under the radar a bit, and that he could be a flex option throughout the season.
Round 12 - Jakobi Meyers
I took Meyers in the 12th, but regretted it by the time my 13th round pick came around. I finally located a back I liked (Jaleel McLaughlin), and figured he’d last - spoiler alert: he did not. Maybe I could trade Meyers for McLaughlin or a depth option at RB.
Round 13 - Kirk Cousins
I decided to grab a second QB in round 13 with Cousins. There’s risk involved with him coming off the injury, but this late in a draft, I’m more than OK taking the risk. If he excels in Atlanta, he might start over Goff several times for me.
Round 14 - Tyler Conklin
I went with a second tight end in the 14th round. There was really just nobody else I liked, so instead of grabbing a quarterback, running back or wide receiver I wasn’t likely to use, I went with a backup at a position I had just a starter in place for.
Final Thoughts
Unlike my last mock, I didn’t come away from the picks with super high hopes.
My starting lineup is solid, and my depth isn’t terrible, but only coming away with three running backs left a sour taste in my mouth. Maybe Gibbs, Mixon and Warren can get me through the season just fine, but that’s a lot to ask.
I’d probably immediately have started asking around the league (if it were a real one) to see what running backs I might be able to land for one of my receivers. Maybe Flowers could land me a good third option, and then I could have my new RB be part of flex start/sit options with Reed, Sutton, Palmer, Meyers and more.
One thing I know for sure: after my first 12-team mock of the season didn’t end as I hoped, you can bet my next mock will also be a 12-team one. Check back soon for that!
