Key Fantasy Football Injuries Heading into Week 10: Baker Mayfield, Christian McCaffrey, A.J. Brown, Kyle Pitts and More
These are all the key injuries you should be monitoring for Week 10.
Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys (Hamstring)
It's being reported that Prescott tore his hamstring partially off the bone. It's more than likely he is going to land on injured reserve and only missing four games is optimistic at this point. If you were relying on him in fantasy football, you should find another option for the remainder of the season. There is a chance he comes back sooner, but you should be prepared to not get him back.
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars (Shoulder)
Lawrence has been limited in practice so far this week. The injury doesn't sound serious, but the Jags did sign C.J. Beathard of the Miami Dolphins practice squad, which is at least worth noting.
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Toe)
Mayfield was a non-participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, along with just about everybody else in this passing attack. We don't believe this is serious and we expect him to be out there in Week 10.
Will Levis, Tennessee Titans (Shoulder)
Levis has been sidelined with a shoulder injury and the team seems to have been better for it. His status for Week 10 is still very much up in the air.
Running Backs
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers (Achilles)
It sounds like CMC is ready to roll this week and make his season debut. It's unclear how big of a workload he'll be given, but all signs point to him at least getting on the field along with a fully healthy Jordan Mason coming out of the bye week.
Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Toe)
Irving continues to deal with the lingering toe injury that he's been playing through for weeks now. We expect him to continue to play through it this week.
Brian Robinson Jr., Washington Commanders (Hamstring)
Robinson was a surprise inactive last Sunday after being expected to play. After last week, it's hard to be confident in him getting on the field until we actually see him out on the field.
James Conner, Arizona Cardinals (Finger)
Conner has started the week off as limited with a minor finger injury. He does not appear to be in any danger of missing any time.
Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers (Knee)
The Panthers have activated Brooks and there is a good chance that the rookie will make his NFL debut on Sunday morning. How he impacts Chuba Hubbard will have a significant fantasy impact through the remainder of the season.
Gus Edwards, Los Angeles Chargers (Ankle)
Edwards has been designated to return from injured reserve, with the sole purpose of muddying up a finally clear Chargers' backfield.
Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars (Hamstring)
Etienne returned to action last week, but wasn't used a whole lot coming off of his hamstring injury. He has been limited in practice so far this week, as has Tank Bigsby, who is dealing with an ankle injury of his own. Both backs are expected to play, however, how snaps and touches are going to be distributed between them is anyone's guess as of now.
Zack Moss, Cincinnati Bengals (Neck)
Moss is going to miss the rest of the season due to a neck injury. This injury does sound like it could potentially be career-threatening, however, we did get some good news and he's expected to avoid surgery.
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans (Hamstring)
Spears is considered truly questionable for Week 10 and could even end up being a game-time call.
Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens (Knee)
Mitchell is considered questionable for Thursday Night Football, however, we'd be a bit surprised if they don't give him one more week before they put him back out on the field.
Wide Receivers
A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles (Knee)
After missing the second half of last week's game due to a knee injury, an MRI showed no structural damage and Brown has a real shot to play on Sunday. DeVonta Smith also popped up with a hamstring injury and missed practice to start the week. Both wideouts need to be monitored throughout the week.
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons (Hip)
London left last week's game in the first half with a hip pointer and was unable to return. This injury is a matter of pain tolerance and London could return this week.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys (Shoulder)
Lamb was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. He is being called week-to-week but also sounds like there's a real shot he plays this week.
Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Hamstring)
Evans still isn't practicing and is in danger of missing another game.
Michael Pittman, Indianapolis Colts (Finger)
Pittman dislocated his finger in last week's game but sounds like he should be fine for Week 10.
Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals (Quad)
Higgins is listed as doubtful and isn't going to play on Thursday.
Brian Thomas Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars (Chest)
Thomas clearly wasn't at full strength last week due to his chest injury. He's expected to play through it again this week - hopefully with better results this time.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kansas City Chiefs (Hamstring)
JuJu still isn't practicing and isn't looking good for Week 10.
Deebo Samuel Sr., San Francisco 49ers (Ribs/Oblique)
Samuel was limited on Wednesday but is believed to be healthy coming out of the bye week and expected to serve as the clear WR1 for the Niners.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints (Concussion)
Olave hasn't been able to practice yet this week and there is no chance he plays on Sunday. He suffered his fifth documented concussion in Week 9 and there's a real chance he lands on injured reserve by the time the weekend gets here.
Nico Collins, Houston Texans (Hamstring)
Collins still isn't practicing and has not been designated to return off of IR. He appears to be a long shot for Week 10.
Amari Cooper, Buffalo Bills (Wrist)
Cooper was forced to sit out last week and is still being considered day-to-day this week. With Keon Coleman possibly missing multiple weeks, the Bills could really use their big trade acquisition.
Tight Ends
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles (Hamstring)
Goedert is finally back practicing and is practicing in full. His return seems to be imminent.
Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons (Hamstring)
This is an injury that just popped up without much explanation and should be monitored as we get closer to game day.
Isaiah Likely, Baltimore Ravens (Hamstring)
Likely has been ruled out for Thursday Night Football.
