The 15th week of the fantasy baseball season has now wrapped up, but before we turn our attention to week 16, we first need to go over the top performers from the weekend (July 5-7).

Top Hitters

St. Louis Cardinals’ Nolan Arenado and Washington Nationals’ Luis Garcia Jr. each had eight hits over the weekend.

Arenado had a double and seven singles for his knocks. He drove in three runs, scored twice and walked and struck out once.

Garcia had six singles, a double and a home run for his hits. He drove in four, scored two runs, stole a base and walked and struck out one time.

Texas Rangers’ Jonah Heim and Cardinals’ Nolan Gorman had seven hits each.

Heim hit five singles and one double and home run. He also had two RBIs, four runs scored and three strikeouts.

Gorman had four singles and three doubles for his knocks. He drove in four, scored twice, walked once and struck out twice.

Los Angeles Dodgers’ Will Smith hit four weekend homers, including three in one game - those were all his hits this weekend. He drove in five runs, scored five times and walked and struck out three times each.

Boston Red Sox’s Rafael Devers homered three times among his five total hits. He drove in four, scored four times, stole a base, walked once and struck out on five occasions.

New York Yankees’ Ben Rice had three home runs - all in one game - amongst his four weekend hits. He drove in seven runs, scored three times, walked once and struck out three times.

Atlanta Braves’ Ozzie Albies and Cardinals’ Masyn Winn joined Smith with five runs scored this weekend.

Albies had three singles and two home runs for his five knocks. He also drove in four and walked and struck out once.

Winn had three singles and a double for his four weekend hits. He drove in one, walked twice, stole a base and was not a strikeout victim.

After Rice’s seven RBIs, Cardinal’s Willson Contreras, San Francisco Giants’ Michael Conforto and Pittsburgh Pirates’ Bryan Reynolds all had six RBIs.

Contreras had three singles and two home runs for his five weekend knocks. He scored three runs, walked three times and struck out on four occasions.

Conforto had three doubles and one home run for his four hits. He scored twice and struck out five times.

Reynolds homered twice and singled four times for his six weekend hits. He scored three runs and walked and struck out once.

Cleveland Guardians’ Angel Martinez had two hits and seven walks this weekend. Martinez singled and doubled, scored two runs, had a sacrifice and struck out only once.

Baltimore Orioles’ Ramon Urias got on base eight times this weekend. He had three singles, one double and four walks. Urias drove in a run, scored once and was not a strikeout victim.

Dodgers’ Shohei Ohtani and Philadelphia Phillies’ Whit Merrifield had three stolen bases each.

Ohtani had a single, triple and home run for his three weekend knocks. He drove in a run, scored twice, walked two times, was hit by a pitch and struck out on five occasions.

Merrifield had three singles this weekend. He went on to score one run.

Pirates’ Joshua Palacios had two hits (both singles) and four walks this weekend. He went on to score three runs.

Arizona Diamondbacks’ Eugenio Suarez had three singles, one double and one home run for his five weekend knocks - he also walked twice. He drove in five runs, scored twice and struck out three times.

Texas Rangers’ Leody Taveras had six hits (all singles) and one walk this weekend. He drove in a run, scored once and struck out one time.

Kansas City Royals’ Freddy Fermin had five hits (all singles) and two walks over the weekend. He had two RBIs, runs scored and strikeouts, along with a sacrifice.

Miami Marlins’ Dane Myers and Xavier Edwards each had .583 on-base percentages this weekend.

Myers had five hits (three singles, one double and one homer) and two walks. He had three RBIs, runs scored and strikeouts, while also stealing a base.

Toronto Blue Jays’ Spencer Horwitz had four singles and two walks, while also reaching after being hit by a pitch this weekend. He struck out one time.
