Top Hitters

Washington Nationals’ Luis Garcia Jr. was the top hitter in the MLB over the weekend, posting eight total knocks. He had five singles, a double and two home runs, along with five runs scored, two RBIs, two stolen bases, no walks and one strikeout.

Los Angeles Dodgers’ Enrique Hernandez and Teoscar Hernandez, Kansas City Royals’ Hunter Renfroe, Oakland Athletics’ Miguel Andujar, Minnesota Twins’ Willi Castro, Toronto Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Boston Red Sox’s Connor Wong and Jarren Duran, Pittsburgh Pirates’ Oneil Cruz, Baltimore Orioles’ Gunnar Henderson and Jackson Holliday and New York Yankees’ Anthony Volpe all posted six hits.

Teoscar Hernandez had three singles, two doubles and a homer for his hits. He drove in two runs, scored four times, walked once, stole a base and struck out on three occasions.

Enrique Hernandez had three singles and doubles for his hits. He drove in four, scored three runs, walked twice and was not a strikeout victim.

Renfroe had five singles and a double this weekend. He drove in two, scored three runs, failed to walk and struck out two times.

Andujar had five singles and one triple for his hits. He drove in a run and scored once, while also stealing a base and striking out three times - he failed to draw a walk.

Castro had four singles, a double and a homer for his hits. He drove in seven runs, scored three times, walked once and struck out on four occasions.

Guerrero had three doubles, two singles and a homer. He drove in two runs, scored three times, was hit by a pitch, walked once and struck out once.

Wong had five singles and a double this weekend. He drove in a pair, scored four times, stole a base, failed to walk and struck out four times.

Cruz had five singles and a double as well. He drove in two and scored twice, while also stealing two bases, walking once and striking out four times.

Duran had three singles and one double, triple and homer over the weekend. He drove in two, scored twice, stole three bases, walked once and struck out three times.

Henderson had four singles, a double and a homer this weekend. He drove in three runs, scored five times, walked once and struck out twice.

Holliday had four singles, a double and a homer too. He scored three runs, drove in three, walked twice and struck out three times.

Volpe had three singles, two homers and a double for his knocks. He drove in five, scored four times, stole a base, failed to draw a walk and struck out twice.

Arizona Diamondbacks’ Ketel Marte, Texas Rangers’ Corey Seager and Boston’s Wilyer Abreu all hit three homers this weekend.

Marte also had a single to finish with four weekend hits. He drove in five runs, scored three times, failed to walk and struck out four times.

Seager added two singles to tally five weekend knocks. He drove in four, scored four times, had a sacrifice fly, failed to walk and struck out twice.

Abreu also added two singles to have five weekend hits. He drove in seven, scored four runs, failed to walk and struck out on five occasions.

Cleveland Guardians’ Steven Kwan scored five runs this weekend. He had three singles, two RBIs, five walks, three stolen bases and just one strikeout.

Minnesota’s Royce Lewis joined Castro and Abreu with seven RBIs over the weekend. Lewis had four hits (two homers, a single and a double), scored four runs, walked four times and struck out on four occasions.

New York’s Aaron Judge had five hits and six walks this weekend. He had two homers and three singles, along with four RBIs, three runs scored and four strikeouts.

Seattle Mariners’ Cal Raleigh had just one weekend hit, but did draw five walks. His hit was a double, and Raleigh scored once. He struck out on three occasions.

Los Angeles’ Shohei Ohtani had three stolen bases over the weekend. He had three total hits (two singles and a homer) and walked once. Ohtani drove in three, scored twice and struck out five times.
