Jeffrey Springs' Ratios Balloon After Rough Outing, But Rotation Spot Remains Highly Secure

Springs stumbled on June 3rd, allowing four runs over 3.2 innings to push his 30-day ERA to 5.03. Still, he is locked in as the number two starter for the second-place Athletics (30-31), who desperately need his stability with Luis Severino and Aaron Civale currently sidelined on the injured list.
